Is Organo Gold legit or a scam?

It's a dirty company. http://www.krgv.com/news/special-investigatio...

Creatine Marketing is now housing members of Organo Gold, Visalus, and X-treme Biz, all affiliate marketing schemes with questionable business practices. Jeff Pulvino, Daniel Fleetwood, Robert Black, and Patrick A. Weller all operate parts of Organo Gold whilst working under Creatine Marketing.

Pulvino and Fleetwood are 2 of the scammers of US Loan Auditors that the State of CA shut down and sued for 68 million dollars.

It's not a global necessity to drink coffee. It's a global necessity to drink water. It's sad that people like you actually bought into it, or maybe kind of funny. Network marketing sucks. Tends to make people lie.

I have done my research and experienced Organo Gold as a consumer and a distributor. It is NOT a SCAM. I went in kind of hesitant and I realized first hand it's a real legit business. It is not a lottery ticket people! If you don't do the work you won't get the results. Organo Gold is obviously not for everyone. It's for the go getters and for people who want more out of themselves and in life. I have been with Organo Gold over a month now and by following the simple system I have made my investment make and made a great profit. And now grew my organization in 3 states so far :) If you are someone who wants to join OG but doesnt want to do the work and expect to make money I suggest to look for something else. Success is not for the weak and uncommitted. But if you are looking to make a great investment and change your life and help others do the same than Organo Gold is your calling. Take care. God Bless

people please.. this is a pyramid scheme. if you get in early then you make money. if you get in late, you dont. stop playin the fools game. the ONLY reason people keep pushing it as legit is because they cant get up the ladder if they dont put people below them.

Not sure who that is, but I drink coffee, tea and hot cocoa regularly so for me I tried the samples, appreciated the quality of the product and joined to get discount.

I've been in several multi level companies over the years and the one thing people can't get over is 'scam'. With each company they are showing you a product. Either you use it or you don't. Then they show you how to sell the product to others who also use a similar product. It's just a different type of advertising and you get paid. Foldgers doesn't do that.
With each company you are using the products you would normally use at home, just a different name brand. It's just about switching products.

Ex:

Foldgers = Organo Gold

Rubber Maid = Tupperware

Revlon = Mary Kay

Family Videos = Nest Entertainment

Amway = EVERY Product you can think of.
(I used to sell different products through them as a stay at home mom, it wasn't about getting rich, it was about the lifestyle I wanted)
I wanted to be home, I sold coffee, hot cocoa, gift brochures and so many other things. Similar to SMC company with the catalog people order out of.

I was home for 15 yrs. doing different 'hussles'. Went to work making good money, 7 yrs. later....I'm back at home.

I feel lack of understanding where finances and business are concerned is one area that keeps people in poverty and thinking 'scam'. If the business homework is done you'll find that pyramids are different. Pyramids are scams. Pyramids you can't make more money than the person who signed you up. They are generally shut down quickly.
If it weren't for these companies, I would have been working full time instead of raising my children. I wouldn't change that for anything. I was home 15 yrs. and did my little side hussle.

I appreciate all the multi level companies have done in my life. I've traveled, met great people all around the world and was able to be home with my kids.

Go back, Gano Excel CEO ran off and they shut down the company. As far as a business succeeding its up to you. Most of the people that have posted to this belong in a job. I have run serveral businesses not just a MLM business and let me tell you, this is a legit business and it is what you make it. If you think money will fall out of the sky your wrong. You have to work and help other succeed. This is its a SCAM mentality is exactly whats wrong with our country and why we are going backwards. You think you can put a few hundred dollars in a business and expect it to work in 6 months, then you live in Disneyland. Good luck, I here 7-11 is hiring for part time clerks. Please stay in your job, we need you there.

News Flash: The FDA does not certify anything organic, the USDA does, and then a third party does the inspection for the certification.
Terri wrote:
I have had my own Organo Gold downline complain over and over again about not receiving their business kits. Organo Gold introduced the King of Coffee as organic, sold $1,000,000 of it to distributors in one weekend then told them later they can't sell it online or refer to it because the FDA has not approved it being organic. So is it organic or not? The FDA has also complained about the green tea not being organic.
Is it or not? I started with Gano Excel and came to Organo Gold. I am beginning to regret it and am contemplating going back to where I came from, Gano Excel. If you join Gano Excel you can get an extremely professional website for $20 per month or free depending on the package you get. The website is unbelievably easy to use and very very effective. here is a sample of someones site http://www.trythecoffeeexperience.com/ . also check out http://www.healthyhomecoffee.com/ and check out http://healthiercoffeecompany.com/ .
When I had mine I got sales from it all the time. And the shipping rates were fair. Organo Gold will charge your customer $14 to ship a box of coffee!!! They distribution center is profiting off people by inflating shipping costs. Shane has an agreement with the owner of that warehouse and thats the way the guy makes money. Shane tells all reps the internet is BAD and you cant make any money on it and you will never grow that way. Its a freaken LIE!
Read anywhere online and studies will prove to you that internet sales are growing by leaps and bounds. People go there to shop and research. Dont believe it! The young generation today are using online. Shane discourages it because Organo Gold website is inferior and people dont but because of the insane charges for shipping. So, if you are new and want to sell online using Organo Golds site, you will fail. Trust me. I hear it all the time. Shane will tell you stories of how leaders are being born in Organo Gold by not using internet. The reason there are there is because they were already chosen.
They are fed by Organo Gold so that they will be an example for you guys to strive for. I been in the meetings and talked to the people. I KNOW what they do and how they got there. Shane Morands first level people are paid by Organo Gold placing people under them. All they have to do is speak in front of crowds and tell some story of how they did it.

A lot of people calling the company a scam and a pyramid. I do not work for this particular company but I do sell for two other MLMs and it's obvious that most of these folks do not know how MLM works.

Key word is WORK. An MLM is work just like any other job. You have to put in the time.

I just checked and this company is on the list of 100 best Direct Sales companies out there this year. That list is compiled by the Direct Sellers Association with is extremely credible organization.

So if you are not making money then you are not putting in the work. Simple as that.

And no companies are perfect. They have things out of stock, shipments get delayed, things get broken. It happens. Guess what? It happens at Walmart and JC Penney too.

People need to get real.

Its just funny how I'm making 6 figures a month with just a high school diploma. tell me a job that can pay you that much just doing 1% of work and retiring 4 years from when you first started in your life within the united states.
Many are called but few are chosen --- as Judas goats!

The fact of your high school diploma alone, which I suggest you augment by some further study, in Economics, Business, Tax Policy and Law, is exactly the profile that various organizers of various schemes look for in a person who does not sufficiently study the realities involved with delivery of huge sums of money to the top of the pyramid.

A simple demonstration of the fallacies in MLMs and Pyramid and Ponzi Schemes can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyramid_scheme

If you have not done so, I would suggest that you read it.
