Indiana is full of unintelligent folks who think they done made it @ the local factory & have no degrees, they will always have a steady supply to replenish their workforce, thats why they are all over the south
Yeah, you don't make that.

actually the North American free trade agreement was set in motion by the 1st bush administration and then signed and enacted by the Clinton administration. So both parties are responsible, but of course since you seem to be the kind of red blooded American who throws around phrases like "slant eyed jap" I wouldn't expect you to be intelligent enough to realize that all of our problems can't be blamed on democrats and minorities. I am so glad my mother had the sense to raise me to be an open minded accepting young man and not some biggoted, angry, racist, republican. I feel for all the conservatives out there that get a bad name from people like this guy who proudly fly the 'republican' banner.

Why n the hell would anyone spend yrs as temporary to hopefully get hired into a factory...thats not working your way up, thats the end! 20 something isnt much money an hr anyway, lots of professions make more than that, i couldnt imagine being a robot all day, f%$# that!
I work 60 hours a week for 18/hr with only 1week paid vacation and only 1 day off a week, with the benefits and all the paid time off toyota sounds like a huge upgrade from where I work now. I have a wife and 3 kids, I owe it to them to want a better paying job (once I get hired on permanent) with more time off. Thats why id want to work there

It takes longer than a year to be hired by Toyota. The average time is 2 years. Aerotek will only keep you employed for 3 years. If at the end of those 3 years toyota has not hired you then you get fired. Pay is definitely worth it and as with any job you can't be late or call in. That was a stupid comment, any employer wants responsible employees. Toyota is very discretionary with the people they hire from aerotek because Toyota has awesome benefits, pay, and bonuses and doesn't want to out money on someone who isn't a good employee. They will not hire anyone that has occurrences while working for Aerotek.
Aerotek will keep u there for 72 months if u can't get on b4 2 years then that's not the job for u anyways

I agree with you I know about 10 people that work there. And they love it there. From what I hear as long as you show up and do your job they treat you good

Gotta say to all those looking to come to Toyota, please do it if: you are halfway intelligent, have decent work ethic, do not think the world owes you a living, and believe in respect and diversity. I've been there for 12 years. Is it perfect? No. No job is. But it is a great feeling to simply pay your bills and make a decent living. Lastly, the insurance is by far some of the best in this area. That is something too many morons who post on here don't get. So if you want to have a better life, and are tired of idiots like japhtr trying to sell ignorance, do yourself a favor and give it a shot. One last thing. There are assholes everywhere. Don't let them bring you down. They just want you to be as miserable as they are. Thanks.

How is telling someone not to be late or call in a stupid comment?? Some places are a little more lenient. I am letting them know that there is no oversleeping, forgetting to set alarm, etc with them. It's all about responsibility. Duh
Well I don't know about Aerotek, but I hired in years ago and I came in late when I was still on the 6 months probation period. They aren't that bad, they do expect you to be there and do your job, but they pay very well for that expectation. After the probation period you have PAID personal days you can use if you're sick. You can call in.

Haha this is funny. People who apparently work here don't know a lot. You can get hired on with occurances. But each one you get will put you back on the list to get transistioned 6 months. Its an awesome easy job. Just fast paced and puts a lot on your body. Love the paychecks and benefits. I don't care what other people around me make because they started from the bottom too. Lots and lots of drama here though. Been here for 6 months and don't plan on leaving anytime soon. You start off at $15.85/hr on days and $16.55 on nights. And whoever keeps bashing this company that works here... Hope you don't get caught.(:

Nafta is north American free trade..last I checked Japan was not in North America. So that's completely irrelevant.

Japan does import cars as well.

And Toyota is 70% American labor...so I can't see how you bitch about jobs. That's pretty contradictory.

I just got hired By Toyota in Canada, we start at 20.22 and make just under 23 for afternoon. They want people that want to work and want to work hard. They pay a great wage in this economy and anyone that doent think so can go work for a landscape company making 12 dollars an hour and work 12 hour days. Contract work keeps the bad apple away and saves there ass incase the economy goes belly up again and we would all do it if we had our own busness. Im tired of hearing of all the bithching about how employers should treat us better. Its a employer market right now and Toyota treats you great if you are a great employee, you can bust your balls at difrent comapnys and they dont give a fuck.

Can anyone tell me about Aerotek's insurance plans? I'm particularly interested in what dental they have. I'm considering it, but I'm in the middle of having some work done.

Aetna for medical and MetLife for dental. Dental cover 80% of basic and 50% of major.

They want teamworking robots. You can't have any thoughts of your own. You can't be late or call in. They will replace you quickly. Aerotek is the place to apply. They will start you out around 15 an hour and after a year you might get a letter from toyota. I know some Aerotek people that have been working there longer than a year and still haven't gotten a letter. If you do make it, they have great benefits. Two weeks off a year for shut down and you get paid for holidays and the OT is excellent.
Hahaha! That's funny shit. They pay us too much to be late, or call in. If your really that irresponsible, I think Walmart is hiring. I work on the trim line, and I've never had surgery, never been injured, and I absolutely love my job. I express my opinions, and they are acknowledge, so I'm not sure where the "robot" comment source is from.
