Maybe he won't, but he will have to live with his guilt in his own mind.
I am sure that he will be okay.

It is a shame that he is even feeling a bit guilty he does not deserve any of this, he is no drug dealer like the ignorant people would like to think. I've known him for 26 years and he has never been involved with drugs, he has worked since he was 14 years old, and made something for himself. The trash that beat and robbed him, and is now suing him was once given a chance by IRA gave him a real paycheck, yes folks he worked for him, in my eyes this kid should pay his own medical bills and iras. I hope he suffers from guilt for killing his friend for the rest of his sorry ass life.
He didn't kill his friend. Ira caused the accident. Do you think the grand jury was just bored and wanted to waste some time?? They were following the law.

I say cut Ira some slack. This is why: Ira Didn't kill all three of them why ? Answer : He cut them some slack after he killed the one that probably treated him the worst during the situation.

Had it been my house , they would have all died, or died with me (upon the intent of said individual to do harm to me was established of course).

Following only what they heard. If they heard everything he would not be going through anything right now.

They hear evidence. Do you think they just indict random people without hearing evidence?? Especially on some big charges such as murder.

So you are saying they heard a bunch of random people and no evidence?? I don't care about going to look cause I know it isn't true. The grand jury hears testimony from Ira, police officers, and witnesses. They don't just sit around pointing at names on a sheet and decide to charge them with the worst crime they can think of knowing it won't stand up in court. You sound or should I say type ridiculous.

His family was in danger my butt. He was the only one in danger. If he felt so threatened, why chase armed robbers?? Hope he goes to prison for life. He's a murderer.

Wow!! Put yourself in his FN shoes...WTF would your a$$ have done for real?!?! Would you've sat at your house and waited for the police to get the ppl tht just held a gun to your head & tried to take whatever (only the 4 & Ira knew what they wanted) they came for,[who gives p F if anyone in this matter was WHITE or BLACK],or would you've really sat there waiting for the "EPD" to find the ones (&whose to say they would've) tht just came and robbed you at gunpoint to get justice?!?!? I mean really??? If the ish was turned around, I in my heart, without a doubt know the 4 men would've done the same thing Ira done!!!...and tht was to try and catch the ppl tht had just committed a very heinous crime!!! Who gives 2 sh*ts if it was set up, planned, or whatever...it is wat it is and it FN happened to a person that had no FN clue to what was going to happen...so he did what anyone would have done, and tht was to protect himself, his family, and his home...does it matter if there was/is family problems?!?! It's still an act the 4 men took upon themselves(knowing the consequences) to take part in and the outcome neither Ira or the men didn't plan on...so take it for what it is and know that either the men or Ira never expected it to end this way:(( I'm devasted about the whole situation in all REALITY:~( neither party is going to be happy with the outcome, but its in God's hands now...he deliver what should become of this horrible madness!!!!

Once again, you have no clue what you are talking about. Ira knew atleast one of the robbers by name so why wouldn't the police catch them?? No one was there except Ira so what danger was his family in? People steal stuff everyday. You are not allowed in Indiana to chase down suspects unless you are making a citizen's arrest, not ramming them on purpose. I don't condone the robbers actions in any way, shape or form, nor do I condone Ira's. They will all pay the rest of their lives with the stigma and guilt.

They had masks on, he did not know at the time who was robbing him. They would not have been caught.

this is in no way going to be a racial statement, only an honest opinion from one person in this city. lets think about what the police actually could have done in this situation, if Ira would have let them go, and solely called the police... the EPD would have come, taken statements, looked for clues, and done a full blown investigation. how many hours would the department have spent on this case? who knows.. would they have found the intruders? it is doubtful, and even if they would have tracked them down, im sure someone would have been happy to provide an alibi. people that are willing to do this kind of crime have people that are also into this lifestyle as friends, so the false alibi would have been easy to drum up. this scenario would have allowed a menace to society walk away and laugh at the legal system, and no one could really have done anything to prevent this. i personally think someone who breaks into a home with malicious intent gives up any rights to protection they have as soon as they walk through the door they kick open/pick the lock of/or window they slide through. i believe a person willing to do this once will do it again. im not saying one persons possessions are worthy of taking the life of another, but in the same breath, when it is someones sanctuary that you decide to defile, you become less than a person. people that are willing to do this should be treated like feral animals, because thats what they are acting like. what i have has been paid for because i have a job. what makes you think you have a right to come get it? im armed, and if i get the chance, you wont carry my toaster out my door, regardless of the cost of this toaster, its my blood, sweat, and tears that paid for it, and i feel i have the right to keep anyone from taking it from me. god made man, and glock made man equal. the intruder got what he deserved. it isnt about material things, its about whats mine is mine, and if you want yours, earn it. dont expect me to sit idly by and watch you invade my sanctuary and do nothing. i really dont care if this was a white person breaking into a black persons house, or visa versa, it comes down to protecting things that have taken a lifetime to accumulate.. my life working to get what i want/have makes it very important to me. the sadness in this whole scenario isnt just about the death of a person, like i said before, they were acting like animals, but its about the number of people that feel like they need to defend a person that was guilty as hell. i feel very saddened for the family that lost this guy, but i feel no remorse for him. he made this choice, and his actions put everything into motion.. the outcome may not have been perfect, but it is one less person busting into homes taking things he dont have a right to take. how many more homes would he have invaded, had he gotten away with this crime? how many more people would he have beaten with a pistol? its not up to me to decide if he is a good person, or a bad person, only the lord above can make that judgement. i hope i dont stand in front of my maker having committed such an awful act, without a chance to repent for what was in my heart.. if im wrong, and there is no god, then i will die believing i lived a decent, respectable life. if however, you believe there is no god, nor consequences, how will you cope with judgement day if God does exist?

The danger had left so he was protecting?? The road, yes that's it, the road. That's why he's charged with murder. I don't expect any of you biased a** idiots to understand, but I tried. No matter if he goes to jail or not, to me he will always carry the stigma around. Have a nice day.
