I hear that the police will get snitches to testify against a person by making false statements created and feed to them by the police and they also rehearse the snitch's testimony before the trial.
pretty much telling them this is what we need you to say on the stand.
Anyone know of this happening and to who?

They kept asking me bout some one and just kept giving subtitle hints on what I should say. Example my number on his phone bill that day six times you sure didn't get any drugs from him that day. I said I never got drugs from him they said this could help you out a lot if you say you did. I couldn't bring myself to do that.

Anytime they say if you admit something it will help, they are lying. The officers have very little control over what charges will be dropped or not. And have zero control over what the sentence will be...they just say that when they have no case.
It will never help.

They will never give you a deal after the fact. The DA might offer one before you admit something but not if you freely admit it beforehand. And again the detectives in the interrogation can not give you a deal with out the DA. Saying "this will help you" is not a deal nor is it true.
