they are not just a bar band. they play a lot of different places. The first time I saw them was at Mardi Gras in STL. One of my best friends books the bands for his towns picnics which is not far from Red Bud. He told me how much they charge compared to JR.

3/4 of the members of Joe Dirt will play Riverport in July and play every December to five or so sold out shows at the Pageant.

Yeah, sounds like a bar band to me. Good call.

That's the problem. The money goes to that boys club they call a Fire Dept. Little if any money is actually put back into the community. Part of the reason why there is nothing for the citizens of Red Bud to do but get drunk and hop from bar to bar in their Jeeps or motorcycles. Remember! Start seeing motorcycles!
I have a better idea. STOP GETTING S-FACED AND RIDING YOUR BIKE LIKE A TEENAGER!

who and what are you talking about, the fire dept puts a volunteer service towards the community at any given time. Not really sure what all your comments mean because you are not enclosing any details??

Mark Twain - "It's better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt". That certainly applies in this instance.

none of that takes them outside the realm of being a bar band

not too bright are you? Its called the FIREMENS picnic, because the FIREMEN host it, specifically, EXCLUSIVELY, to make money for the FIRE department. Its where they get their budget. Why dont you openly admit that you dont like people in general, are a snob(with no reason, seriously, youre not "special" because you dont drink). And lastly, when your house is on fire, after some neighbor sets it aflame because youre such a bitch, call someone OTHER than the all volunteer red bud fire dept.

thatwould be referred to by MOST people as "a different band some of them are in" playing there. And those places feature bar bands pretty regular.

Yeah - bar bands play Riverport all the time! The Pageant too for five straight nights! I mean, if your definition of pretty regular is almost never, then you're right I suppose.

Are you related to Bigdeal? Seem to be of the same ilk / intelligence level in the fact that you have no idea what you're talking about.
