After last years half ass picnic, who could have thought this year could have been worse?? Not closing the streets off and having the picnic more spread out killed the revenue for the whole town. Crappy rides for the kids, one band, and food options slim. And on top of that having the picnic the same weekend as sparta fair and all the local car shows. This shows poor planning. And at the park is nothing but hills. This was a disappointment for the whole town. Maybe this is how it will be from now on. The whole town will quit coming to this picnic as most people look a it as a joke anyways. whoever used to plan the picnic, we need them back!!

Yes it did suck, but no one is jumping in to help out if you got good ideas and what to make it better you gotta get out and do something about it. People that did it all before got tired of doing it all with no help. Get involved in the town!

I do know that the person in charge of it this year would not lesson to people that went to the meetings about how things needed to be back down town again, didn't send out letters for donations to help make it better until 3 months before the picnic when that should have been done a year before and how he stopped calling people that was on the committee to let them know when the meeting would be because he didn't want there input or votes against his ideas. But then they where good enough when he needed help the weekend on the picnic. That all back fired on him because he made that the worst Evansville days ever. It's a shame how it turned out!!!
