They need to arrest the accusors also. They committed crimes by obtaining their GED knowingly under fraud. They also need to have their GED revoked. They did not earn it.

If I remember correctly when this first happened it was a setup and she was innocent. One question I have is why would she or anyone that is innocent plead guilty to a lessor charge. If I am innocent I will not plead guilty then if I go to jail I will know I fought as hard as I could. I feel sorry for her family and the pain they are going through but she brought this upon herself for whatever reasons. Just because she is Teresa Warner does not give her special rights. After all Martha Stewart went to jail for non violent crimes that involved money. I just hope I don't have to hear about how she was mistreated for the next 10 years. I am sure if this was me no one would care! You do the crime and get caught but your big girl panties on and do the friggin time!!!

Why would you plead guilty to a lesser crime if you're innocent? Well, if your lawyer sees that you're most likely going to be convicted of a crime that would send you up for say ... twenty years but can get you a deal which would guarantee that you get out in six months--if you plead guilty to a lesser crime. What would you do? You know, fighting the good fight, and dignity, and all that is honorable are great--but common sense dictates that you would most likely take the deal. Refusing the deal and sitting in prison for twenty years is a high price to pay for sticking to your guns. That's my opinion.

Just about anything done like this is politics. It serves one main purpose, has one main objective and cashes in on it. Politics is very dirty; always has been; always will be. Most times it is a plea bargin to get what they want. Then you hear very little of it in time to come. It's like it vanishes in mid air.

My opinion is she was set up also. Read the story. Little over 1,000 bucks in YEARS she was accused of receiving. There was ANOTHER examiner NOT named involved and NO charges yet filed. The accusers NOT named which should be just as guilty of conspiracy. Really???? Teresa is in her 50's, lost her job and livelihood, resigned from BOE ( which is nothing really because they are all a joke). I think punishment is too harsh. Home confinement or probation should have been sufficient considering her livelihood is DONE!

You have faith and trust in the Lord and judicial system that the truth comes out. But yes, if I was 100% innocent I would not take a deal. The other parties involved should also be charged not just Teresa. Those who received the GEDs should lose them and also be charged. I am not saying she is the only one guilty they are all guilty and should get the same sentence.

Then Fettys needs their GEDs taken away and charged with fraudulent obtaining them. IF Teresa is guilty, so are the Fettys. And if they had to have a ged for employment, they should have extra charges brought against for fraudulent using them. Also they need terminated from their employment. They need to pay also!!!!

I guess the US attorney general's office is in the conspiracy too. You are a joke, and obviously don't have a clue about any of the facts concerning this matter. If she had not taken a plea, she would have been facing federal crimes. I am sorry also she got jail time , but don't blame others. It is what it is, the judge was the one that sentenced her. The idea to blame others for what was clearly done by her is rediculous. You don't know what you think you know.
Wow, i know the truth and that is something you clearly do not. I am not going to get into a pissing match with you over this matter, but maybe you better practice what you preach and get your facts straight before you come on here claiming to know so much. Evidently you are one of the worthless Fettys that weren't able to obtain a GED the correct way because of your stupidity!!!

So, Judge Evan's lied then in his evaluation that was published in the paper about the involvement of the US attorney?? His rendering was based on the facts.
