I would like to say that my husband and I are very excited to hear that talks are ongoing regarding the speedway. We are avid Nascar fans and have traveled to many Nascar events around the country. We frequented AIS with several friends over the years that it was open and especially enjoyed the BUSCH East events. We have camped at AIS on several occasions to watch the races. This is some of the most exciting racing that we have attended. I am talking on the edge of your seat racing. I think I enjoyed it more than many of the Nascar events we have attended. It was very disappointing when we heard the track would shut down. What a boost for the North Country economy. Yes, there are things that could be improved at the track, but you have to start somewhere. The racing is not one of them!! I believe more advertising could be done as well. We wish Mr. Lyndaker and the rest of the track execs the best and hope for a positive outcome. Please make the public more aware of ongoing discussions and hopefully they can assist on getting this track open again.
