I believe that you can wear black leather and get to Heaven just as much as the rich man up on Crocket's Ridge. However, when groups of motorcycle riders go on the benefit rides after church or any other time, I personally feel that there should not be drinking beer and stopping at bars at the end of the rides. You can't ride both sides of the fence to get into Heaven. I have stopped going on fund raiser rides because I do not feel that alcohol and trying to raise money go together. How does raising money for a deceased motorcycle rider who was hit by a drunk driver in a car make sense when all the bikers stop during the ride to have a beer or an alcohol beverage?
I don't know who you ride with, but I have not been on one single ride after church or any other ride that ended up at a bar.

Cotton candy preachers not judging right from wrong in the HOUSE OF GOD today. Thank God some pastors judge right from wrong based on God's word and won't give up their pulpits with men looking like Hell's Angels convicts!

How do YOU know Jesus did not have long hair? Long hair does NOT make a man look like a girl. Facial features alone can make that difference easy to see.
"Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?" (1 Corinthians 11:14 Authorized King James Bible) Jesus would never bring shame unto him. he would not want to look like a girl. Men should look like men and women should look like women. Long haired boys sure look like girls to me. I have to look twice sometime to see if it's girl or boy. Now a beard is another thing! Never saw a girl with a beard unless a perverted transsexual.

Nothing wrong with wearing leather to protect one when riding motorcycles. Nothing wrong with riding motorcycles either. I use to ride but i don't want to be a two wheels with all the illegals and others driving drunk and still others texting and talking on their phones. VERY SCARY to me! No one should drink especially Christians. Why do you Christian bikers still get tats, wear ear rings, skull caps, and have long hair after you say you have been saved. Looks like you would want to stop looking like outlaw bikers. The word of God tells us to humble. To me dressing like macho outlaw gang members is not being humble.

Please show me a picture/likeness of Jesus in a local church, or any church as far as that goes, with a crewcut!

The artist didn't know the scriptures on long hair. Jesus did not look like a girl. He was a man.

The key to all your posts is stated in your last sentence here. I quote, "To me dressing like macho outlaw gang members is not being humble." You sin greatly by stepping into God's place by passing judgment on others by adding the word "me". God is the ONLY judge who matters. Your "me" judgment is sinful. The Bible...including the KJV Authorized 1611 translation....clearly says that ALL have sinned. ALL....All....ALL....! That disqualifies you to pass judgment on anyone. The Bible MUST BE taken as a whole, and NOT BY one verse alone...by itself. The Bible contains NO MISTAKES. It IS the INFALLIBLE WORD OF GOD spoken by HIM through chosen men. Nitpicking over a word here and there is passing judgment. If you attend church tonight....and I doubt that because you refuse to identify where you attend...one of those judgmental Independent Baptist churches where a translation of the Bible is worshiped over God the Author.......you need to go up front during the invitation and confess these sins and ask forgiveness....then go and do as Jesus said..."Go and sin no more."

<quoted text> We have all sinned. A true man of God should know better than to look like a girl. Why don't you believe the word of God about long hair? I believe if I recall you don't believe God about marks on the body either? Why would a real preacher continue to make a mistake by looking like a girl? A divorced preacher should step down.
First of all, just because a man wears long hair doesn't necessarily make him look like a girl. But, that's not my point. You still have not commented on a couple of points. First of all, what do you mean when you say, "dress like the world". I have heard similar statements before, but I truely do not understand what is meant by this. I've asked before, does the man who wears a 2000.00 dollar suit and commits illegal acts ie. murder, drug dealing, gambling, etc. any less of a sinner. I mean, come on. He dresses like a preacher yet he is a criminal. He's "of the world", right. So is it wrong to wear a nice suit as opposed to leather and denim. You got to admit, how a person dresses has no, none, absolutely nada, to do with his soul. Sin is sin, my friend...regardless of what you are wearing when you commit the sin. There's nothing from God that condemns either leather or mohair. Also, I know you've gone back and read your post on bikers attending church on Thursdays instead of Sundays. You most certainly made fun of these people. No way you can deny that. So, why would you do such a shameful deed? These are people who are seekingGod. Did you ever consider that maybe they have not been schooled on you precise church etiquette...you know, when to attend, what to wear, etc. Shameful. Lastly, why should a divorced preacher step down from the pulpit? The Bible eve gives instructions on how to divorce properly. Besides, I only stated that someone who has walked down that path would have more empathy......a better understanding of how the couple might be feeling. Please, just think these things over, I'm sure you will agree that you're way too harsh and lack in Christian love.

Hey...Jesus doesnt care what you wear or how you look. As long as you believe in Him and accept him as your personal Lord and Savior you will go to heaven. Judging people on their looks is a SIN. If you have a problem then you need to do some soul searching. You should rejoice that you brothers ans sisters in Christ are reaching out to a group of people who are shunned by the "OLD TIMERS."

So we are supposed to believe that Caravaggio, Moretto da Brescia, Giampietrino, Francisco Ribalta, Diego Velazquez, and Michelangelo didn’t have a clue, and that you do??? I think i'll stick with them.

By the way since you obviously don’t know what you’re talking about let alone what I am talking about, the above mentioned names are famous artiste that painted likenesses of Jesus. I bet if you go to a church, which I seriously doubt, you will probably find one of these likenesses hanging on a wall there. I think your church is right in front of you. I think you worship at the altar of Topix, and just like to stir things up. I feel sorry for you and will pray for your salvation!

So you believe men that have never seen Jesus instead of the written word of God when it says long hair is shame unto a man?

Jesus does not want women to dress like hookers or men to dress like pimps and outlaw gang members like the Hell's Angels.

What about Numbers 6:5? How about 1st Samual 16:7 But the Lord said to Samual "Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him.For the Lord sees not as man sees:man looks on the outward appearance but the Lord looks on the heart".
What I really like is this verse. James 4:12 There is only ONE lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and destroy. But who are YOU to judge your neighbor?
Whats really sad is I don't even believe this stuff and I understand it better then you do.

Firstly, Jesus was believed to have long hair because he was from Nazareth. Men from Nazareth traditionally did not cut their hair. Paul wrote the verse you quoted and while he was a man of God never saw Jesus either.

Why do you continue to sin after being saved? How do we know that wearing a skull cap and ear rings are a sin. We all sin. I understand this seems to go directly against God, but the truth is all sin goes directly against God. The Bible doesn't directly denounce the use of meth, but God does tell us to treat our body as a temple. Some would argue this, but science leaves little doubt. Kind of like making fun of people because they are seeking God...regardless of the day.
