Not sure if it's a Democrat/Republican thing or an IQ thing. I must be even dumber than the person that wrote the letter, as I have no idea what the writer is on about. I also see that Snopes thinks the whole thing is a spoof, written to make fun of Democrats.

Not a natural born citizen because of being born by C-section? Well, I can see some folks going to that extreme. There's always a nut case in every crowd.

Just ask the next democrat you see a reasonable question and record their answer it will floor you.A really good question for a democrat is "if you raise taxes on oil companies is that going to help your pocket book or hurt it?"

Ok, to a Republican, "If oil companies are having all time record profits, and gasoline prices are at an all time high, where do you think the money you're paying at the pump is going?"

I'm not going to get into the tax or not tax argument, but Exxon just recorded a record profit, and gasoline prices have jumped 80 cents a gallon in the area where I live since December. No "great event" to cause it, just prices going up, and estimated to go over 4 bucks again by beginning of May. Not far to go for that.

Raise taxes, don't raise taxes either way my wallet is scr**wed.

Oh yeah, I got the satire, the C-section comment topped it all.

(Raising satire flag)

Sad part is, I could see some Tea Partier devote anti-Obamite going down that road for real. The Donald just hasn't thought of it yet.

Your responce makes to much common since, something the Tea party folks can't handle. They will blame gas prices on the Demcorate President as they always have.

Despite earning over $1B in profits last year, Facebook paid $0 in federal and state taxes, and will get a refund totaling $429M, thanks to tax breaks.
Even though Facebook (FB) reported $1.1 billion in pre-tax profits from U.S. operations in 2012, it will probably pay zero federal and state taxes—and even receive a federal tax refund of about $429 million—according to a Feb. 14 statement from Citizens for Tax Justice.

Exxon Mobil made less than 5% on their investment even after the record profit for 2012. The profit margin for most business is over 12% so oil isn't making even half. The fact is that oil companies aren't going to pay higher taxes or more anything they can simply add it to the price you pay for gas because of Bush.

Wal-Mart and McDonalds area about to report their worse February in many years comparison year on year.

They believe the reason is the increase in the payroll tax on middle and lower income wage earners.(that would be people that actually have a job) Leaves less disposable income. Remember, the REAL unemployment rate is about 12% or so. And while the Democrats have proposed several jobs bills, the Republican's have shot then down, and have not only NOT proposed any jobs bills or any constructive way to get people back to work, but seem to insist on policies that will put another 750,000 people out of work.

Let's see if the tax increase on the rich has any affects on purchases on high end automobiles, jewelry, homes, etc. When Tiffany's and Mercedes complain about sales decreases, then I'll worry about the rich. When there's mass layoffs of of Mexican Housemaids, then I'll worry.(by the way, there's more Mexican's leaving U.S. than coming in apparently.)

Also, small bit of news, the Federal government actually ran a SURPLUS in January.

Republican party in of itself not all that bad, but the Tea Party loonbats have hijacked it, and 4% of the population is holding the other 96% hostage to their brand of Sharia law.

Not sure why Tater is so concerned about Exxon Mobil's welfare, I guess either he holds a lot of stock or works for them. Sounds like a shill for Exon to me.

You really did fall off a turnip truck didn't you? Real unemployment at 12% is so far off its laughable. The real unemployment figures never add in all the people who have run out of unemployment benifits, never counts all the welfare single moms eating cheeto's in their section 8 apartments. It never counts all those who just gratuated or are still in school that have no job. It doesn't count even half the real unemployed in this country. I have friends down in Texas, illegals are flooding into america at never before seen rates to try and get AMNESTY, and the welfare gravy train. More people than ever are getting thier hours cut back to less than 30 per week to avoid OBAMACARE. Import trade agreements are delfating wages faster than ever, we are also losing manufacturing faster than ever. If it wasn't for the illegals working under the table and for pennies on the dollar, the chicken plants would be gone from here also. The dollar is losing value faster than wages can keep up. The more Obama prints, the less those working at the bottom can buy. This cycle is crushing small towns and big cities alike. Even with property tax hikes and sales tax increases, cities are going broke. You will see the results in the crime and homeless rates rising . Do you relize cops don't even bother with investigating thefts and burglaries? They won't even bother to ticket an illegal or arrest one unless made to. This country is a joke and falling apart faster than anyone can fix it.

The 12% number is what I see tossed around by the "Faux News Network" Fair and Balance so it must be right -(note sarcasm)

And otherwise can't disagree with you. Job market is a joke. Wife went to a retail store at the local mall, they're like we're only going to work you 5 hours a week? WTF? Others, go online to post the application, 15 page questionnaire and test for a minimum wage retail job. She's getting ticked because of the basic joke job hunting has begun. When we lived in Morristown she looked for work for all of a week and wound up working a decent job and decent hours for more than minimum wage. Same in other places we've lived, seemed tough to NOT find work. Straight forward, fill out the app, do the interview, go to work. Now all sorts of tests and hurdles.

Same with me, previous it was no problem to find a good paying job, I'm talking jobs paying 60-70K/yr. Now, not so much. Ok if you're in medical, pharma, IT maybe, but manufacturing management, forget about it unless you have an engineering degree. Sorry, I have enough diploma's to plaster a wall, not going for more. I get plenty of offers to sell life insurance, health insurance, purchase a Snap-On tool route, etc.

At this point I"m working on getting my CDL, fudge it drive a truck for a living. Won't make 70K a year, but work is steady. Beaners have started to take over that too, but the real good paying jobs require a government background check and security certification, beaners won't be able to pass. Those DO pay 70K/yr.

The trades is the place to be but you have to have abilities to get good pay in them. As for the oil companies i want them to find oil and sell it at a reasonable price I use a lot of gas and it cuts deep into the customers pocketbook if I have to pay more for it because I pass the cost on. Ever heard of a fuel subsidy charge on a bill?
