Thank you for your question. I do not use any of these items a present. I have not consumed any soda products since 2004. Over these last years I have radically reformed my/our eating Lifestyle. I did this based on a multitude of health concerns. This is not to put judgment on others who choose to eat the way they see fit. However, our family eats close to "Natural" as humanly possible. The reality is I am 80% to 90% chemical free Daily Food Consumption Lifestyle.I have not been able to acquire grass feed beef for example. Our eggs are farm fresh, We drink almond milk, homemade. I occasionally use local farm fresh goat milk which I pasteurize myself, to make home made yogurt. When possible I get locally grown chickens which I make all homemade meals from scratch. Steel cut Oats, Blueberries from Buena Vista, TN (I go there and get tons and tons) and fresh freeze and or can them. I make my own homemade bread.(we actually limit high quantity of bread products) I buy or get free as many dark green vegetation and fresh fruit locally as possible. Steel cut oats, Quinoa, Barely, Millet Flax etc... I mill these in grinders and whole ingredients in the food I prepare. I have not ground my own wheat as it is available at Whole Foods(to which I do not use a lot of wheat and I use NO corn or peanut products. I use Raw honey, Stevia, or Agave for sweeteners and Coconut, Grapeseed and Extra Virgin Olive oil for cooking and dressings. I do a lot of canning and freezing. I research on the computer to keep up to date of what the Food and Drug administration is doing and on the commercial practices of companies like Monsanto. Just to let you know, I have done these changes over many years and am growing constantly in the knowledge of using food as fuel for the body and medicine. It has been second nature to me now and I have found it cost effective and wish I would have started doing these things sooner. I/We use food grade hydrogen peroxide for many things, including a dilated form, and use many essential oils for a gamut of home remedies. Baking soda etc.. for teeth. No fluoride product. Purified or distiled water. At present I am looking how to collect fresh rain water and carbon filter it. I have a well, however, it has a lime issue and would prefer purify that one day. I know that I have over answered your question, I just thought to offer you as to "why" also.

Do you have any common sense at all? If so you would do your homework and know that this is a propaganda piece. You are the average American and you are why Obama was re-elected. In short, you are a complete idiot!

That's all...

More than anything what you are is a bored housewife who really needs to get out and enjoy life. Involve yourself in worth while causes and stop trying to be the wife of Daniel Boone. Those days are gone. One can eat healthy and still make time for a life. You have taken your boredom in the wrong direction and if you have children they will be affected in a bad way by your silly actions. Eventually your mommy role will be over and your husband will have found another woman who doesn't smell of lavender and lard. Wholesome looks and smell doesn't attract or keep a man.

You do know don't you that pasteuring your own Milk kills all of the beneficial properties in it and that Baking Soda, alone, will take all the enamel off your teeth and how do you replace all the minerals that you lose, but your body needs, by drinking distilled and filtered water? And BTW, a Supplement won't do it!

I have seen by your many posts that you KNOW everything there is to know about. I drink goat milk because it is better metabolized than cow milk. I also indicated that I make my own homemade yogurt. Which returns tons of good bacteria to the product. You are right about the teeth, however, when used in a specific way like with coconut oil and mint oil, the "damages" are far less then the "damages" that fluoride does to the body. We use very little because the brushing of the teeth is what cleans the teeth not necessarily the product on the tooth brush. Plus a healthy diet also helps with teeth protection. How long, how many times a day etc.. Plus a healthy diet also helps with teeth protection.I will not be responding to you anymore about this topic. I am sorry you enjoy bringing people down. So I will not play. I thought you were going to be polite and not contrary. The bottom line I know the choices that I make are far better than the average diet that you consume. You asked the question and now you want to argue. Good evening. I need to go to bed now because I wake up with the chickens.

I am not sure why you are being so hateful to me. I enjoy my life very much. This is my life. In American many people live different ways. Where in my post did I mention my husband was living? Or that I have a husband? Maybe I did and he died from a very bad medical/health issue. Maybe that is why "We" chose to live like this. Now you know the rest of the story. I hope you are blessed with great health and joy.

I am impressed that you have made good choices for yourself. My wife found out she had cancer and our family physician recommend we eat similarly as you do, its just I am too old to do all the work that requires this kind of diet and my wife wont change. She is just stuck in her ways.

Darling I'm sincerely sorry for your loss. I'm sorry that when your husband died you assumed it was due to eating healthy with products purchased at your local grocery store but the truth of the matter is he would have died regardless. I don't have to know you or your details to know that a balanced diet is possible even today with all of the chemicals used in many foods. You have taken it to the extreme and as I stated before your children will ultimately pay the price for your bad choices. As Linda said, you have taken all of the good things out of their diet along with the bad. This isn't a healthy choice. Apparently he left you financially secure so with that security use it to balance your consumption of food in a healthy manner. As for making soaps and toothpaste, that's all just a matter of preference so go ahead and make until your heart is content but keep a healthy diet from many resources available for your children.

Have a blessed night and again I'm sorry for your loss.

Just thought I would stop in. It is unfortunate that Linda Cooper is always very hateful to a complete stranger and there is absolutely no reason for this. I do these things in modern times where great technology makes it very possible and not spending ever second in the kitchen. Bread maker for bread. Food processor for a variety of things including grinding flax seed, almonds etc.. if you look up on You Tube you can see how almond milk is made. Yogurt machine to make about a quart of yogurt. So the concept that you believe "regular people" can not achieve and optimal healthy life style is wrong. I do not buy processed foods. If I want a sandwich it is made out of pot roast like my grandma made, chicken equals chicken salad sandwich or just plain chicken, fish, just fish etc. Mayo takes all of 10 mins to make in a food processor so why buy it from the market when I have all the ingredients in my cupboard. If you want to learn how to accomplish some of these so they can become second nature to you please let me know. Boil water, let it boil, through in steel cut oats wait eat. Don't know whats wrong with that? I make enough for a few days. We call these left overs. Stews, casseroles, soups, and other items that are easy to make in a crock pot. Then I freeze little portions to pull out for what I call "Fast food" So please stop being abusive. I thought you really wanted to know something. You just asked your question to start in on me. In the last 50 years people have slowly turned to a pre-packaged food products and with that illness. I am simply turning back the clock like my preparing meals like my Grandmother did. Taking it to another level with healthy ingredients. I am sorry you find it hard to believe. Today we are having home made from scratch chicken noodle soup. I have a pasta maker and I make fresh pasta or it too. The recipe is Betty Crockers. You do know who Betty Crocker is? Maybe Martha Stewart? I use a lot of her recipes. A week or so ago she was on PBS teaching how make homemade mayo. Look it up. Have a healthy day full of joy Linda. One more thing do you know what a Vita Mix Machine is??? Amazing things. Great for juicing. I never use a Microwave.

Your approval of my choice of life is of no consequence. It is obvious you are lacking in knowledge of anything that I am talking about. Please do not speak of my children as they are no concern to you. Nor are yours, mine. Yes we all are going to die, its matter of when or how. Living long in optimal health is much preferable than a short agonizing one. You must not be familiar with many current well versed Physcians Like Mehmet Oz and Michael Rozen. Learned people like: Joel Furman, Joseph Campbell, Ram Dass, Andrew Weil, Christiane Northrup, Deepak Chopra, and Cheryl Richardson just to mention a few. Not sure what money has to do with your point. It is simple when you stop buying the unhealthy things, like coke, fast food, etc.. you have the money to make better choices. The bottom line is what CHOICE do you make and what are you willing to GIVE UP to OBTAIN optimal health and wellness. I suspect your angry with me because I choose to do well for myself and my family than do unhealthy food production. Maybe because it takes a small amount of sacrifice. I like the pay off for a the small amount of sacrifice. Whats your pay off?

It appears you have been able to cut the time down that you spend on your food choices. All of which is none of any of our business. From your first post I must admit I prejudged you and for that I'm sorry. My first reaction is always and will always be the best interest of children. Children are a gift from God and should be cherished as such. It's my belief that a child's welfare should always take priority over anything or anyone else. Children need love, security and teaching not just using books but through living ones own life. No doubt your children will grow up with the tools for a heathy lifestyle thru food and that is certainly a plus and a rarity in today's world. I just hope they will also learn that there are good healthy choices in food even in a busy lifestyle. Don't deny them of other choices just teach them the better ones or they will eventually see those other choices as a tool to prove they are adults. Believe me all children love to test the parent. Lol

Have a great day and happy, healthy eating from our home to yours.

Lol. Maybe I didn't prejudge you wrongly. I will speak on behalf of your children and anyone else's children anytime I feel they are in danger. That's a fact you can depend on. As a matter of fact if I had proper information a DHS officer would be knocking on your door as you read this. If you are opposed to anyone who disagrees with your way of raising children then it's advised you refrain from posting your personal business on the Internet.

On your original post it's my belief you either didnt comprehend the article you posted or you just didn't read it. Either way matters not to me but it does however make you appear foolish and that's why my original post indicated you maybe weren't the sharpest tool in the shed.

Now we can agree to disagree here but I stand 100% behind my belief that children come before anything else. Now if you choose to continue down that path of superiority I'm more than happy to walk it right beside you every step of the way.

That's all...
