Sad to see the demise of compassion, good manners, and personal responsibility. We don't have anything to replace the demise of these except cowardly, hurtful, insane remarks. We all have responsibility for our actions. We need to worry about improving ourselves instead of trashing everyone. All of us make mistakes. Why can't we support our neighbors and wish them well when they are in trouble? It is nice to have the forum to go into when we hear of a traffic accident and want to know if it is someone we know and love. Forum provides good instant information. However, when I go in to look for this information, I feel like I fell into a cesspool. All the toxic comments are horrible. We have a lot of problems with drugs and crime and these need to be addressed but not by unknown and cowardly people who need to work on their own lives and get an education and job. Try it and you might feel better about yourself and your neighbors.

I would like to add one to your list of "murdered". The English language has also been "murdered" here and roxy is one of the many suspects.

It's Neighbours not neigbors if we are using the English language correctly
YOU spelled neighbors incorrectly. It is "neighbors" and NOT "neighbours", sir. American/English dictionary.

I agree, but I say this is the nicest way:

What more can we expect?
If we look through the ages at the examples humanity has set for us, we will see that mankind is actually not much worse today than 2000 years ago... in fact, here in the USA, it's probably 10 times better. This does not excuse anything these people post, but honestly, on a site that gives you complete and total freedom of speech, you can not expect to see humanity at its best.
One thing to be grateful for? I saw a lot more positive posts on the accident forum than I did negative. Sure, you have jerks everywhere, but as far as I'm concerned, the good still outweighs the bad. That's something to consider.
What I do think needs to stop is the defamation of names. Folks need to stop making posts about this person, or that one. I don't care what they've done, or who for that matter. What goes around comes around, and one day your name may be on here with all of your dirty little secrets for everyone to see...Including your children and the people you love. Everyone screws up from time to time... No need to make it a public issue. If that person did something to hurt you- either get over it, or take it up with them in person. Give the passive-aggressive bs a break!

Kudos. I wholeheartedly agree with this. It's a shame that we must read through the negative, nasty and cowardly comments. I loathe sifting through the B.S. that the lonely, inadequate and demoralized people post just to get their rise.

And to those who want to be Webster; I'd choose punctuation over minor misspelling any day. At least I knew when the OP's sentences ended.

Thank you for the genuine post. It's nice to see that there are some decent, caring human beings left. It's almost embarrassing that our little town has become so negative and nasty. I pray whole heartedly for the human race. I hope each and everyone of you have a pleasant and blessed day. Peace to all.
