It is really none of my business but that sounds really really odd. I just can't halp but think it is something bad. I hope it was not because of drugs. Surely it was nothing like that.
I have posted on this thread and exressed disagreements with the boy about his food truck but I hope he gets his problems straightened out and does better the next time. Maybe he needs to grow up a lot first though.
Maybe
Worker was on drugs or drunk and was the reason for the fire.
Why did he have no fire suppression other than salt?

Lmao @ you! You have the nerve to call me stupid? I think if you could read, you would see I said he didn't owe any paper work to me or anyone. I said it might help him keep some business when/if he reopens. And please fill us in on what caring about Morristown has to do with the price of rice in china? That's the dumbest s*** I have read all day. And lastly I didn't read where I said any of the stories I have heard was true. It reads to me like I was talking to mark, just telling him what all is being said. Maybe you should look into some reading compensation before you run your dumb a** mouth!
No your wrong!!! I read it exactly how you ment it. fuel for the fire!!!! Why say you don't have to but maybe you should? Then instead of saying you have heard different things and leaving it at that. you go with the baseless lies you have been hearing and post them for all others to fall in and try to use against cgb. Maybe i was a little rough with my reply, for which I apologize. But people on here have nothing better to do then to say hurtfull things. So and I understand what you were doing, I was mad. But please dont throw gas on the fire.

I bet all of the scumbags that are downing Crazy Good Burgers are currently collecting welfare, SSI, and foodstamps.... and they want to down a hand out? I think what Morristown is doing (aka lending a hand to help a few good boys out) is awesome and it makes me proud to be a small part of this town.
So you are above the SSI, welfare, and food stamp club. I hope you never get sick, have a car wreck or other accident that makes you unable to work so you have to get food stamps and SSI.
I also hope that you have enough money saved so that when you retire you won't have to get on food stamps. Talk about holier than thou!!!

Funny how all the inbreds here will give their money to churches no problem but when a local business asks for help...
Why would you be calling people who give money to churches inbred.....that makes no sense to me!!! But someone asking for a handout to fix something so they can make more money should not be compared to anything that goes on in churches....churches use money they take in to help people who ACTUALLY NEED IT...i know someone who had a death in their family and that person had no life insurance so the members of the church that the guy went to all put money together to help the family pay for the funeral that was very nice of them and that should not be compared to some broken down food truck!!!! so all I can say is WTF!!!!!!!!

I don't know exactly what happened because I wasn't there just like the rest of you. I'm not sure about the insurance either so I have nothing to say on that. But what I can say is if he done something wrong, was trying to scheme or whatever, he's the one that will have his day and will have to pay, not you. If you don't want to give him your business, that's your choice and if you don't want to help him in any way of getting back up and running, that's your choice, no one is making you. Some of you are calling him an idiot for being honest but when it comes down to it I'm sure there's not many that would be that honest. What's wrong with telling the truth?? I've eaten there a few times and I never had a reason to complain because the food was good and they were always friendly. There were even a few times we turned around and left only because it was too busy. So to the ones that say no one was ever there, you are crazy! If he never had business, how did he stay in business so long? I hope they make a comeback and do better than they ever did!

How is the fund raising going? How long before you get one truck on the road? You told me a couple weeks before the fire that all you needed on the second truck done and ready to start selling, was to have it wrapped or something like that. Why is it not on the roads making money?

So the way Kickstarter works is you have a pledge/reward system. Customers, supporters, family and friends pledge money and receive these rewards. The rewards we are offering range from hats and shirts to a 300 person catered event. We will be up and running again pretty soon. Two trucks... top of the line food, customer service and top notch health scores.
I really don't care if you respect me or not. I am giving our customers the opportunity to help rebuild the truck. Crowd funding is a fairly common way projects are funded these days. It isn't that different than people looking to banks for lines of credit or selling bonds. In fact it is very much in keeping with our keep it local concept.

Metal doesn't burn. Most insurance companies won't insure food trucks because if in the burger guys truck it gets into an accident, the insured not only want the truck fixed but loss of income.

I was under the impression that 'KickStarter' was a website for people that are wanting to start a business, to help get a "kick start". I didn't think that it was for established businesses that ran afoul of misfortune. Our nation's free enterprise system basically says you will either "sink or swim". A business should not have the right to ask for help from the general public if they have a setback. That is why we have insurance policies. If they keep those up to date, by paying for the policy through the profits of their clientele when they give you their money for your goods or services, then there would be no need to ask for help. Basically what that says is, the people of Morristown have already given the Crazy Good Burger truck their money already, what they did with that money has caused them to not be able to "save for this rainy day". It is not the responsibility of the people of Morristown, or any other town, to help rebuild the CGB truck. They had our money once, now they want more?

I have no vendetta against CGB or Corbin. I do not know him. I just think that it is terrible that he is asking for money from the people to help rebuild. Get a business loan. Or was the entire idea about asking the people for the money a way to not have to pay the money back? You can offer them a simple service based on the amount of their donation as a trade-off so they cannot say they didn't get anything for their money. It all just seems a little shady to me.

Shady and not a part of my lunch or dinner choices any longer. That mushroom burger was great, but NOW I might feel assaulted if I buy one again. Assaulting my purse strings that is. I will gladly spend my money elsewhere.

HELLO!!!!! WHERE IS CORBIN??? He was here spouting his nonsense until someone questioned him directly about the insurance, did he get it if not why?? After those questions he disappears? Sounds like he was trying to use the truck fire to RIP THE HICKS (as he calls you) OF MORRISTOWN, OFF! I would say he did indeed get the insurance money (what kind of fool would allow this insurance to lapse on their business?) sounds like he just wanted to milk his customers for as much as he could get, what a tacky POS loser.

IF that truck ever opens again, any of you would be FOOLS to give that rip-off your business. What a low life.
