Mr. Duncan is no different than any other drunk driver but lets see how honest the good old boy's network is with justice for the man killed. A civic leader? Really? Most lawyers serve on some community boards no matter what. Lets see how justice prevails in this case. Maybe because the Gators were losing that was a good enough reason to drive drunk??? Maybe? it is Gator Country here.

Many eyes are watching this one just for that reason. Rumors have circled around Duncan for years. Once he thought about running for State Rep before Hays did. Rumors circled that he had failed a drug screen for POT when he was a Lake school board attorney and he immediately dropped out of consideration. For some reason he has always been the boy with the silver spoon in his mouth. Now no matter the legalities his actions has caused the death of another human being. The good ole in Tavares will look after each other, they always have. The courts (even for non well connected cases) are nothing more than revolving doors. Lake Sheriff's office brags of recent arrests of a drug ring. The leader Joshua Hill has be arrested and placed in the Lake Co jail 35 times since 1994. Some charges including home invasion from 2008. Why is he on the street? He should have received state prison time years ago. What will they do with Bruce Duncan? Put the case off as long as they can so everyone will forget about it, or, threat him like a common criminal and turn him loose. After all this is his first time to make it to the criminal justice system. He deserves the same fair treatment as everyone else.

My opinion is if the shoe fits wear it.........If Duncan gets away with this than the voters of Lake Co. should rid the system of
all the judges and start fresh they have been in office too long and are to comfortable in their position and feel they can get away with anything.....Can You Say "Crooked" this is where we are at..........Change the judges and County Commissioners and things will change....Why do you think we have a president for only 2 terms? The same should be for the county.........Put me in there for a bunch of years and I'll be able to do as I want.......Get my drift??????????
