I am wanting to buy a B&B and move to ES. I have been there a handful of times and just love it there. Between politics and everyone having an opinion, I respect people thoughts, but is there anything that I should know before making this change in my life? All opinions are appreciated....

I tried, but all I saw was a few rainbow flags and unbrellas. I saw a few hot bears, but nothing about them said gay. I need a tour guide I guess!

That's too bad. I'm sure if you are looking for someone gay you will find one.

Well, good luck if you do. Personally, I think a B and B is not a good move. The real estate here is too high. Too many city government regulations, too many loud motorcycles, and too much trash that is spoiling the once vital wedding chapel business. Bars and restaurants are still a good investment....

If you can pay cash for a B & B property and have enough operating capital, go for it. I wouldn't mind living there myself--it is beautiful. However, Eureka Springs has suffered greatly due to the recession. It seems like the majority of the B & B's are for sale. May be you could get a good deal. Preferably, get one on the main drag within walking distance of the shops--not all of them are and walking can be treacherous.
