I'm planning a trip for March to Eureka Springs. I need to know what's the best attractions, places to eat, romantic places to stay & spots to stay clear from. I've visited once as a teenager to see the passion play. Any advice?

Turpentine Creek Wildlife Center, Blue Springs Gardens, do a dinner train in Eureka Springs (if its open that early in the season), Thorncrown Chapel, Crescent Hotel (beautiful and great views from the balcony's have a drink in Dr. Baker's lounge upstaris), Big Jesus statue, St. Elisabeth's Church. Restaurants: Ermilio's for dinner (Italian), the Stonehouse (great place for wine, cheese and music at night), the Grand Tavern restaurant in the historic Grand Central hotel always has great food. has a nice small intimate bar too. Lunch: Local Flavor Cafe

p.s.--you can stay at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Center a few miles outside of downtown Eureka--they have these African like huts that are well-done in decor and an outside hot tub--you can hear the lions roar at night. Bridgeford House B & B is pretty nice. I wouldn't stay in Basin Park hotel at all or even the Crescent Hotel unless you buy a honeymoon suite--the rooms are still old and musty. stay at a B & B along Spring Street. Hillside B & B is nice too

Basin Park and The Crescent are much nicer than Dana thinks. I stayed at the Basin this past week for Mardi Gras and my room wasn't musty at all. I do agree with Dana that TUrpentine Creek is a cool place to stay!

The Crescent and the Basin are both old... but I think that they are beautifully kept. They arent as "nice" as new hotels but I would rather stay somewhere with caracter. Both have great service. The Basin was great being right in middle of all the shopping, and the Crescent was just a great piece of history. If you go take a ghost tour ever if you dont believe because the history lessons are great!
