While I like Mr. Meadows and voted for him the charges do not suprise me. I remember when there was a debate here about a trivia night and different political figures who it was said were drinking. It was said at that time that Mr. Meadows had had a few to many that night.
Hopefully he will not be treated any different than any other person.

I saw this on the news yesterday morning. In his statement he said (and I am paraphrasing) that he is sorry that he doesn't usually do that and it will never happen again.

Your statements are correct based on observations made by many others in attendance that night.

Hmmm, I asked Tim Meadows for his help in the situation regarding the son of the Mayor of Desoto and it was basically just nothing. I really didn't appreciate Ron Casey telling me to disregard what had happened because I shouldn't smear anyone's names.

Actually "Hay" as you call me had Mrs. Hay drive both of them home that evening. This fact was witnessed by many who attended the event.

Hay answered and gave specifics. Now how about Crisler?
He is pulling his infamous disappearing act now.
So the answer is YES. Crisler drove his drunk self home and everyone that was there knows it.

I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Meadows last week at the Boy Scout Troop 450 meeting where he was honored with a picture of the boys. Seems Mr. Meadows donated a MO flag to the boys to take with them on their trip to South Dakota this past summer. The boys staked the flag in the ground, got a picture, and that's what they gave to him.

He seemed like a very nice man. He asked for my card and bought some raffle tickets the scouts were selling.

Sounds like he made a mistake and realizes how dumb it was.

If you go back and read the other protracted conversation about this you will find out both that Mr. Hay was not intoxicated that night as he had to remain sober if his wife would happen to go into labor.I did not drive so the question about me is irrelevant and everyone that was there knows it. You are right about one thing when conversations on this board become the same old tirades rehashing what has already been WELL established I no longer participate.

Just because you have a few to many to drink does not make you a bad person and he probably is a really nice person.
Even though he is a popular figure in this area he should however be treated no differently than any other person who is charged with a DWI. He was driving while drunk.

Randy,

This is the FIRST time you have stated that you did not drive that night. You can go back and look, but you NEVER stated it before.

Now, while you are answering questions, what about getting that robocall company name from Deckman and letting us know? Youknow, the ones that were an in kind donation from her where you just dialed a number and left a message.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Aries

There is minor evil around today, whether it is harsh words or actions. Relationships with non spiritual people will tend to be abrasive, as you come to understand that such people can never be trusted, for their agenda is not love. Beware of criticism from colleagues or friends. Avoid being narrow minded and confining your views to the conventional. You may want to argue with everyone and everything, but beware of devouring your own energy in the process.
