We have declining enrollment with to many high paid administrators. All of which need to go. The teachers aren't driving the payroll out of whack its the folks at CO.

That is not what mr. Brazeal said. He said that we have had declining enrollments without a reduction in staff.

He said "it doesn't look like the district has too many teachers".

He also said "The district has already signed off on contracts for certified staff, which include teachers....". THAT IS FALSE; teachers have not signed their contracts for the 2014-2015 school year. We have been waiting for the contract negotiations team to get word on the district's financial state and we finally heard last week that there is no money for a raise and our salary has been frozen. Oh, but our Super was set to get a raise, again?

Brazeal quotes: "he also said the district's salaries are too high"... "pay for teachers at the top end of the salary schedule are third in the state". This is infuriating to insinuate that teachers are making too much at FoxC6. It took me at least 20-25 years to make the $65,000 THOUSAND DOLLARS that Ms. Nash was hired at last year. I have a Master's degree and she had no education past high school, from what I have read, and did not meet the job qualifications, from what I have read. Friends of my kids are starting at $50-$60K right out of Mizzou. WE ARE TEACHING YOUR CHILDREN AND DESERVE A DECENT SALARY. GOOD PAYING JOBS BRING IN GOOD CANDIDATES TO FILL THE JOBS. And no, I am not related. I love my job and feel I have been compensated well for doing the job I was hired to do.

The point of my post was to reach out to Normandy and accept the students that wish to transfer. We need $$$ and these kids need a place to go to school. It really is a win-win. $2.5 million could save lots of jobs.

Fox should open it's doors to the 350 Normandy students that Francis Howell is turning away. Howell would have received $2.5 million. Brazeal said we have a declining enrollment with too many teachers. This would help with both situations. It's not ideal, but if it saves some of the employees at the low end that were going to get furloughed or laid off, it is worth a look.
Dear "Maybe", you said the above, which includes "Brazeal said we have declining enrollments with too many teachers" and that is incorrect. Brazeal said "it doesn't look like the district has too many teachers".

At what rate is our enrollment declining? How many students have we lost in the last 2 years? I was under the impression that our schools are bursting at the seams and that is why the district/building lines are being changed. Please advise if this is incorrect.

I thought that I read that in the Leader a couple of weeks ago. It was in the first article that they did.

Declining enrollment was one of the "stress factors" that Mr. Brazeal mentioned.

Custodians and maintenance haven't had a raise in 5 years and now furlough days, layoffs and maybe have to pay $300 a month for insurance. How much do the little guys have to give up? It works out to be about $6000 a year almost a fourth of an average custodians pay something is wrong with this picture

D. Brown is correct when she says that her personal life is none of our business--right up to the point where she gives her boyfriend a high paying job that he is not qualified for nor deserves. Then it becomes EVERYONE'S business. She spent the better part of last year sneaking in and out the back door of Seckman High School to the point that students knew what was going on before the adults. Again, now it is OUR business. The Fox administration thinks they have the right to manipulate, cheat, and lie without any consequences. How long before the community stands up to them? They are unprofessional and their only administrative ability is to bully people into doing what they want in order to keep their jobs. There are three school board seats up for reelection. Do you want to continue with business as usual or really make a difference in the lives of students and families?

No dribble hit the paper, a notice of divorce was announced.
I know nothing of what is going on with Diane's personal life, and I know nothing about what is going on within the Fox School District.
Just because someone takes a bunch of anonymous potshots doesn't mean there is truth in abundance.
From my experience as a parent with kids going through the district, and having interacted with Diane in an official capacity, I have observed nothing but professionalism and an abundance of competence.
From my personal interaction with Diane, I see somebody that comes across as sincere and well meaning. I would be proud to be considered her friend.
"...I just wanted you to know..." stuff from someone afraid to post their name doesn't cut it.
Just to clarify for you and others who may make the same mistake, the word you want to use is not "dribble", but "drivel".

Dribble is what you do when you leak saliva from your mouth and it runs down your chin.

Drivel is gibberish, nonsense, mumbo-jumbo, like usually appears in the newspaper.

Hope this helps!

Have a feeling that Addit is or was a BOE member. Glad this didn't change anyone's mind to uncover the mess going on.

I am Addit and if you have been following along for the last few years you would have caught on that I am a teacher, I support our teachers/custod/cooks/maint/ai des/secretar, I support Sam, I have thanked Watch Dogs for perseverance, I have stated my unhappiness with admin and BOE numerous times and want all who did not follow the rules fired. The repost below was to make a point as to how laughable "Come on alreadys" post was from 2010, that decisions are NOT and have NOT been made in the best intetest of the students.

I wonder if Pleban is still going to represent her with all of this coming out.

I have a question. So, if a city employee takes funds/items for personal use wth that intent it is embezzlement and they still have to pay it back.

With this situation of items being purchased for personal use, is there a crime that can be charged and if so does she get out of the crime since she is returning the items? Just curious.

Well let's see how the BOE defines this situation with the school property at her house. Duh, yes BOE it's stolen. Termination is order. No hesitation with Jaime before. Shouldn't be with Dianne. Make a community happy and start the healing.

It's stealing and if its over $750 in value it a felony! Doesn't matter if she gave it back. No plea Arvin for her. Prison orange can be her new black!
