What do you think "support" means? Here is a quote from the letter:

"This year we will be asking you to extend your support on an August 7, 2012, NO Tax Increase,$18,500,000 Bond Issue..."

It is illegal to use district funds(taxpayer money) to ask you to support a tax increase, bond issue or candidate. This is clearly the case with the letter that arrived in the same envelope with district report cards.

By the way, the people who live in apartments are contributing to the taxes collected indirectly every time they pay their rent. Apartment buildings are considered commercial property and are assessed at 32% a higher rate than residential homes that are at 19%. The owner of the commercial property pays much higher taxes, as do businesses. Businesses have no children in school.

I never was asked to donate anything from and one and I work in the district

Friends of Fox asked for donations to help get information out to the voters.

Did you know that the school district now has a twitter facebook and myspace account specifically used for spying on students. The district sent a letter to my friends parents warning of her misbehavior. What's next are they going to start tracking the students cars after they leave the paking lot to make sure they are not speeding? This is a violation of the students rights. The district has no right to even know about anything a student does off campus. They need to be stopped or they will continue untill the students have no rights at all. We need privacy I'm not supporting underage drinking but isn't it the parents job to keep an eye on their kids? So why are they spying on us? They are trying to say that parents cannot watch their kids so they will do it for them. I believe that the district has once again overstepped their boundries and will keep doing it untill they are stopped.

I think that when they catch minors in possession of drugs and alcohol they should post their pictures in a public place for all to see. If they get caught shoplifting or breaking into cars, same thing. Maybe if you made a public spectacle of them, they wouldn't be so inclined to do it again.

You are all idiots. First you complain that schools aren't doing enough, it's because they are under funded. Do you realize that all theese people sending the kids to fox schools that live in apartments, are sending their children to our schools for free. And it is not illegal to use district funds to get you to vote. As long as they didn't say vote yes, which they didn't. So you all should dig the sand out of your viginas and go find something else to cry about. Or maybe help you children with there school work do they won't end up sitting on their fat asses bitching on the Internet while they should be at work.
The tenants may not have to pay directly, however I'm sure taxes is figured in their rent; as the owner(s) of the property have to still pay taxes.

There is so much anger here. I am asking everyone to read our Constitution, Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence and tell me if you're living the life that it says we are all entitled to. We are all pitted against one another fighting about things that may or may not have to do with the subject and more to do with our own unhappiness at the unfairness of the life we are leading. Ask yourself who's responsible and please don't say it is you, or your neighbor, or your kids. It's our government and the laws and taxes it imposes on us all on a daily basis. It's the banks, mortgage companies, loan sharks and and the debt they pile on us. It's the lack of a good education that teaches critical thinking skills, kindness and compassion, and the ability to grow a garden - cook and can and preserve, farm, and become self-sustainable, along with reading, writing, and arithmetic. We are dependent upon an entity that serves itself and not the people. The government is a profit-making corporation, not anything else, and we are the ones who fund it by THEIR laws, not ours. Only we can change it. Are you tired of the fight that leads nowhere? Please contact me through my blog here http://givemelibertynowblog.wordpress.com/ if you'd like more information. I'd love to talk with you.

I have not heard that anyone was asked to donate nor was I asked to, I'm shocked that there is another case of misinformation posted on this site.... In case you all didn't catch that, that last part was sarcasm.

The only things that are definite in this life are death and taxes, we should try to reduce the latter.

The best source of information, I have found, is a retired teacher from the district. Oh, the things they can freely tell you then without fear of losing their jobs.
