My only experience with them was getting a ticket turning into McDonalds, now I find that they had posted that there was no longer left turns into the location on there web site and did put up a new sign.

My problem with it is how several police cars lined up just waiting to write tickets for it, no warnings just go get them Dano and make that money, after all what else pays for the police department.

I guess this is the new answer to the speed trap!

Bill: You are right. You cant call the Chief and start cussing and talking rude. Try common somthing called manors. Also try to state facts only. The Chief is hard on his officers and expects the people to use manors when calling to complain. I have spoke with the Chief many times and he is always OK with me.

I live in Byrnes Mill, the Police are very traffic minded. They write a lot of tickets. I have been in their court. You would not believe the speed people drive!!! I have had to talk to the Chief. He is understanding and a great help if you ASK..We live in a great City with a great Police Dept. if you dont like the Police STAY OUT!!! Drive within the law ..this means all the laws. If you get caught dont blame the Police.

I sure was glad to see Byrnes Mill Police stand up for the regular people. At least the Chief did not buckle under because someone thougt they were above the law. No one likes Byrnes Mills tickets much, but its good to know you can't bully your way out with how important you think you are.. Hats off to the Chief. (This time)

BILL: Just a reminder JR has no criminal charges just a couple of people wanting to sue in civil court to get money. If you really want to get the facts..why dont you ask??? You act like you know both of them?? Are you a person of non-truths??? Bet you are.No one gets a Police ID without academy and POST certif.. Good luck on the next story. You sound like maybe you could not get a job..

If you cant see the HUGE sign that says NO LEFT TURN in front of mcdonalds thats your fault . if you would have gotten a warning you would do it again ,but you didnt you had to pay a 75$ fine bet you wont make the mistake again and the purpose of that is to lower accidents in that spot. Which enforcing the no left turn has done just that .
You call them rednecks but you say you will not spend any money in the city or drive in it so you must live close to Byrnes Mill , A mile away does not make you any better than them so you must be a redneck to . If you going to complain find a good topic to do it about. Not you breaking a law and then blaming the officers and the police for enforcing that law
damn your a smart one

The police department makes about $1.00 off of every ticket issued the rest goes to the street department and other various orgs the money for the police department comes from taxes , gov grants and donations .
I wish people would get their facts straight befor they complain and accuse

Get your facts straight again ..........
The chiefs security company is not at all a part of Byrnes Mill. Im curious to see why you think the security officers have police id's . Are you sure that the company does not employ police officers as secondary work ? I assure you that the State Of Missouri and POST would not allow a Id to be given to a person that is not licensed to be a police officer in this state .
With that being said , No one working for Chiefs locke's security has a police Id that is not properly trained for it and licensed for it by Post and the State Of Missouri

Now I have stoped one of the security guards & he was wearing a jacket with POLICE written on the back & produced an Id card that said Byrnes Mill Police so I let him go with a warning but when I met one of Byrnes Mill Officers about a week or so later & informed him of the stop. he advised me that he works for the Chiefs Security compamy & he is not a COP anywhere. And Byrnes Mill Police ID cards are not like the credit card type plastic they are laminated paper from a PC with a picture on them. So no you dont have to go to the acadamey to get a ID card.

You are wrong, PD ids are made so they can't be reproduced at home. If someone had an id from Byrnes Mill it was fake or expired or he was an officer. Try to call if your not sure?? 911 will always call the Chief and check if you call. Or you can make up a better story next time.
