Basically, if you enact a citizen's arrest and there was no crime then the person would probably sue the pants off of you as Honestly said.
That would be a Republican. They don't like homosexuals much as evidenced by them not wanting to grant them equal rights as married couples. In Arnold if you look really closely at the politicians you can tell which way they align by what type of support they get.
And I'm not saying I agree or disagree with the Republican stance, just stating their stance.

I would recommend waiting for an officer to perform the arrest. Why take the chance on doing it yourself and 1, getting hurt and 2, taking a chance that if you are wrong that you will be taken to the cleaners in court.
