How can Arnold residents be so stupid? The facts are true. This corruption has been going on for years. Yet when someone brings the information to you, you people want to dismiss the corruption and loss of money by always asking "Why? How do you know, etc". You truly disregard the corruption that is taking pace and the millions of dollars that are misspent and dwell on trashing Doris! What is wrong with you people??? Have you no brain function? Do you like being treated like mushrooms?

I am tired of my tax money being wasted on such frivolous, and self serving projects and people!

And medication is not needed in this case and never has been. But you go on and keep trying to paint that picture.
And Doris, I have the screen shot of the post you made where you admitted the park incident and to know I was there you would have had to have followed me into the woods. Wish to redact that statement?
Looney LUNN....Did you teleport from home directly to the woods or did you walk from the parking lot? Better check on that medication as I'm pretty sure it is a necessity....and you might want to talk to my companion of that evening as I had been there for quite some time before you arrived.

Changing your story again. Lol. Whatever. You have to live with yourself and your conscience of which I am thinking you have none.

I haven't changed anything, you have just got so many fantasies running around in that addled brain of yours that you can't keep track. You are the one making allthe accusations, I'm just letting you know that I was not by myself, so if you continue to lie about this, I can prove you are delusional.

Good for you but I have never been gone. Nice to know you attack based off of the screen name. Now I have proof. And I could give a rats rear end about Doris. Too bad she can't just leave me alone or answer a simple question when asked (like for her source). Ask her for her proof and see if you get it.

Doris is right about the deficit, all city employees have had their wages frozen, all city employees must pay 25% of health care costs, 2 employees have been terminated and 1 is not being replaced. Golf Course is over $500,000 in the hole, Rec Center is $200,000 in the hole. Let's talk about over $500,000 the city pays for free trash for its residents. And all of this at the expense of terminating employees and sticking it to the hard working men and women of the City of Arnold.
"Pothole Phil" spearheaded all of these things as his "pet projects" which have now jeopardized the city's financial health.
He even made a public statement that he would LAY OFF Employees before he ever charged residents for trash. Maybe I should bring my trash to Phil's house since he gets it for free. Maybe someone should call Elliot Davis from channel 2

Health insurance is part of these employees benefits packages amounting anywhere from $250 to $500 per month. Not only are they being told those benefits are being taken away, but that they also have to pay that amount for spouse and family coverage and more if they want the level of coverage the had. Double whammy means these employees are taking a hit from six to ten thousand dollars a year!!! This is not right, balancing the budget on the backs of the employees after consistently dipping into the reserve fund for all of their pet projects that bear their names so they can pat themselves on the back is one shameful act after another. Sad, really sad.

THIS IS WHY THE CITY NEEDS A REFRESH!! MAYOR AND CC NEEDS TO BE REPLACED...

I am sorry this just pisses me off that the public will suffer for this! When you start cutting benefits and pay from Police officers it affects citizens.

Why do you always shoot the messenger? Perhaps that is the problem with Arnold voters. They discount the message because of the messenger, even when they know the message is correct. It is like ostrich syndrome. "I do not like you, so therefore, no matter what it is you say, it must be a lie" As the Communists and moral relativists say, "Perception defines reality"......
Just because you dislike someone, that does not make their information wrong, it just makes you look foolish for denying as much in the face of overwhelming facts and evidence.
Just like the issue of Safety Checkpoints. The fact of the matter cannot be more clear, no matter how convoluted you try to make it. 2.5 million is a lot of money for a City with a 16 million dollar budget. Most private sector employees would be fired on the spot for exceeding their budget in such a fashion. Interesting that they did not seem to see this coming at the 6 month budget review, whose entire purpose is to prevent this from happening.
Very well said!! Arnold residents need to open their eyes!!

You are dead right about this... Why are city employees being punished for the overspending of others.

That is where you are incorrect. The Mayor was elected by a 2/3 vote. That is a majority of the city. The other person was told no to the job by 2 out of 3 voters.

And I wish my health care was that cheap. Sounds like the city is falling in line with other employers on passing cost to the employees. And notice, it was if they wanted to keep their current plan. That raises questions. Is their current plan a Cadillac plan? What is their new alternative? With ObamaCare a lot of things have changed and caused costs to go up.

This move by the City of Arnold amounts to reducing the salaries of long time employees by $6-!2,000 per year, not to mention the employees step raises are being taken away also. I guess ArnoldCC would just sit idly by if her employer tried to take that much away from her compensation package!
