this is unfortunate for Article Circle. The attorney was probably out of money so he had to make some business.

I was there as a boy when they first opened and have always loved there food including the world famous special fri sauce. It pisses mr off that busybody supposed do gooders have to spoil our fond traditions. Thanks alot Jason K. Singleton you jerk. I've been confined to a wheel chair for over 9 years and I never found Artic Circle a problem. I have always found it my weekly treat to eat thee and now you took it away. You have to remember that these places dont have the resources that the huge franchises have. They are usualy run by a couple people seeking out a reasonable living. God this is the last straw about this area. Eureka is not the same place it use to be. People like you Mr. Singleton that helps rape our local businesses. God if I could get out of this chair I'd make sure my foot was up your rear! Shame on you to take away a local pleasure that was a nice change from the cardboard from the big fast food chains

Food quality aside, this was legal extortion and this man (along with the paid "victim" he uses to initiate these lawsuits) needs to be stopped. One day he will close the wrong local business and end up in a wheelchair himself, redneck payback, lol.

All it takes is one business to stand up to this despicable lawyer as well as a judge and jury with brains. There was a lawyer in San Diego doing similar extortion to business there. He was only stopped when a business refused to play along with his racket. Shame on Mr. Singleton and I hope people refuse his services. If I remember correctly this was one of only a handful of Arctic Circles still around and their shakes are/were amazing.

This is just BS!

This Singleton's secretary approached me about two months ago stating that her boss would gladly represent me against any business regarding ADA compliance. What a joke!

I was very sorry to hear about this and other businesses this Lawyer has filed suits against, and for what? Money? Unreasonable access?

I ate at the Artic Circle and always had no problems. They offered great assistance if needed that often is not received at the so-called upscale restaurants. What judge oversaw this case?

I have had business friends tell me that "If a disabled person enters their place of business, they fear for something being wrong, even after they fixed the access issues." This is too bad and thi lawyer provided the public no benefit in doing this.

As far as I have heard, none of these lawssuits have made it to the inside of a court room. Afraid of bigger pay outs, they settle out of court (since the violations are legit thanks to the ADA) AND have to pay the fines to the ADA AND have to pay to renovate. There is nothing noble in these lawsuits, instead of saying "hey, you are out of compliance, you don't want to get fined" they sue. And you thought you had to worry about a dark alley to be robbed in......

I know on of these 'victims' that singleton used to extort money from two local businesses. If singleton ever comes after anyone I know I will bring this 'victim' into court to tell exactly how this scam works and exactly how singleton promises a huge pay-out to push his scam. The jury will enjoy the truth.

I really enjoyed Arctic Circle. How awful for the owners and employees to lose their jobs. The milkshakes were the best along with the fry sauce. Yum-O!

this 'victim' was promised a trip to nevada to check out the casinos. he can't even read so how can he sign a contract??? then they use his condition to extort a casino. singleton gave this victim special attention which the 'victim' ate right up. this 'victim' barely understands money.

who else has singleton abused for profit? what other businesses has he extorted?

That just SUCKS! I was in high school when AC opened, years before MCD's and BK came here. Businesses should get together and sue HIM for his ADA scams and it should be illegal for attorneys to go out looking for clients. Ads are one thing, walking up to a disabled person and getting them to file a complaint against a business they don't even frequent is another issue altogether. This really makes me MAD!
