Why is 79 the official temperature when the airport is 91? Are we talking 79 at Woodley Island?

So what's the record for the airport? It hit 92 in Arcata proper.

thermometer is supposed to be in the shade. They're measuring ambient temperature not direct solar heating.

There were places in Northern California where people would've killed to be on the coast when it's 79 (or 82 or 85 or 92 or 100) degrees. Man...just enjoy it.

Funny! I remember friends from Willow Creek coming to town to get out of the heat.

I think Ted might remember the fog line use to be at Harris Street when I lived in Cutten. but we would still go swimming at the Freshwater Park, or under the rails in Blue Lake; sun or fog it was always fun.

Our weather has definitely changed in past 30 years.
