Are you talking about the Mexican restaurant on Laurel? I don't see them leaving anytime soon. That place has very good business. Lots of customers.

My opinion is that nearly all the local restaurants serve basically the same thing.
The exception being Scores and Hacienda. I came from a large city where there were tons of choices. Plate lunches are pretty wore out. I'm not saying the Pelican had bad food, just more of the same ole same ole. No need to start ranting on me, I just offered my opinion and that's what the topic starter asked for.

well, if you do reopen, good luck. but do you really think that it's fair to put out the people that are already there and doing well? you said they could get another location, well have you considered another location and leaving hacienda's were they are, if people are going to go back to the old pelican it really doesn't matter were you are, just a thought. good luck.

My family and I go to the Hacienda sometimes 2 times a week. We all love it. I don't see us going to the pelican twice a week for food I can cook at home. Just my opinion.

Maybe you can sell all the drugs there again like your mom used too.. Get them and give some to the cooks so they can show up for work, thats the only way they would show up. I will never go there lol... and yall would serve food out of the slop can that was bad, i know i worked there before. i seen all........people BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

the hacienda has improved and progressed. would be a shame if they were run off. no matter who's right there, parking sucks, its hard to get outta there with the traffic, lol good luck, pelican was ok for the old people who liked having a place to meet in mornings.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Gemini

You'll need every ounce of patience today because even the best-laid plans could go up in smoke under the Full Moon lunar eclipse. It seems that certain people are doing their best to throw spanners in the works, and the more annoyed you become the more they'll goad you still further. If there's dissent in the ranks about how to spend New Year's Eve, you may decide to go your own sweet way and prove that you're an individual in your own right. But try not to let any bad feelings mar the celebrations. Have a fantastic night!
