Let me just say that I have eaten at restaurants all over south Louisiana. Yesterday I had the opportunity to dine with a friend at SOULed Out Smokehouse in Eunice.
Mr. Jon, I am not sure why you would put something that is not true about your wife cause if you would have found something like that I am sure you would have informed the management.
But on to the food, I have never tasted ribs so perfectly cooked and seasoned to the point that you are trying to figure out what is in the rub, this is not your typical ribs that you might get at Chili's or Applebee's, this is ribs that you may try to duplicate in your own backyard.
The owners are a young couple , Travis and Olivia (Venezia) Bertrand, that is pumping food out of the kitchen that usually takes years to perfect the flavors you are offered. Their daily problem is running out of food cause their smoker cannot keep up.
If you are a bbq connoiseur you owe it to yourself to try it. What someone may not realize when they are looking at the prices here is that everything is priced as a combo and taxes are all included, so what you see on their menu board is what you pay, so that $8 hamburger that someone talked about, try to go to a big chain burger joint and get a burger this fresh with fries and a drink for that price. It is a concept of honesty that Souled Out has come up with, no gimmicks just good food.
I am sure that this will not be my last post about Souled Out as I intend to patronize this new Christian based, Faith run business, they will truly be one of the premier bbq establishments in this area. As they gain experience of the restaurant business I truly expect big things to come from SOULed OUT Kitchen and Smokehouse.
I've tried the ribs also, they were the best I've ever had. If your hungry for BBQ you've got to try them out you won't be disappointed.

Yum yum eat em up! Cheaper to buy BBQ than to cook it. For real.

Have eaten there twice. Both times had the BBQ chicken. The chicken is so tender that it falls off the bone. I thought it was very good. The French fries are good also. I had rice dressing with my BBQ & I think the dressing could use some improvement. My boyfriend ordered pulled pork & he said his was excellent. The people who work there are very nice and the place is clean inside. I'd recommend trying it.

I guess that not all people have the same tastes when it comes to good food. I think that it is great that these Christians are running a good, honest business. Eunice could definetly use more of these!!

Service great, clean, all our sides were great BUT...we ordered the ribs. Really, i never complained to them, we had take out, but the guy in the kitchen looked at me and smiled. So far so good. Ribs were crispy burnt. I have never been served this quality of burnt meat before.Anywhere, never???I know it costs $$$ and i know their aim is to make money, But this was awful and they should never have put out something like this. I'll give them another try. They are nice people.
