Stephan Miles Bergeron, 20, 2041 W. Park Ave., who is currently being held in the Eunice City Jail without bond, was arrested Tuesday on one count each of forcible rape, false imprisonment and aggravated rape
"He has allegedly been doing this to a bunch of people. Now that he has been charged, others are coming forward. We don't know how many people may be involved," Fontenot said.

His wickedness is kind of like the Nazis, how long did he think he could get away with this? Well he finally got caught thank God and I hope this fiend gets life in prison with no parole. Hopefully after all is said and done, this piece of trash will be off the streets for good. Please people if you are a victim of crime report it to law enforcement and take a bite out of crime!!!

Hey Bee, If they oughta, Is that a word? I guess so, if you are dumb, arrest the whole family, they should start with Mark Bergeron and Anissa, Stephen's parents. Everyone is innocent until PROVEN guilty and that has not happened. What has happened, is your true colors, ignorance. A lot of innocent people sit in prison for years for crimes they did not commet. Why would the Eunice News print the same information twice? I got it the first time. I gues you didn't. It was not neccessary! But, Stephen's mother works there. She has posted so many stupid articles about herself in the past about being a good mother and "I'm typing this article at 2:a.m. and still have to raise two boys and go to work, Bla, Bla, Bla," I wonder why hasn't she typed anything and posted it in the paper in the defense of her son?! I'll tell you why. She is too busy typing a request for money using her grandson's medical condition and then running to try parish bank to spend the money on herself. Her son is struggling for his life and yet Annisa does nothing to help him when she has access to money that could help him some how. You are right they should arrest the whole damn family starting with her. She could at least come forward and defend her son. To me, that's a crime in its self.

Ever hear of 'tough love' she did not commit the crime he did...so why should she keep defending him.

Yes, I have heard of tough love. I'll tell you a little secret "It doesn't work!! Keep defending him!! She hasn't! Anissa and Mark Bergeron has applied the tough love thing to Stephen years ago. Only they did not do it in a healthy way. Maybe that's the problem. Them. They left him stranded in life a long time ago. And if, and I mean IF Stephen is guilty then it probably has something to do with his upbringing, or should I say the lack of it, if you will. You say he committed the crime, like you're soooo sure. Have you ever heard of casting the first stone for sin that is? In your case it would be for judgemental, which is a sin. Can you cast that stone? I know I can't. You sleep with your judgement tonight, and just like spitting in the air, it will fall on your nose. If Anissa can sit at her computer at 2:00 a.m tooting her own horn, than why can't she type something in the defense of her son? Guilt. That's why. IF Stepen, and I repeat IF he has hurt any woman, it was probably in my thinking, that he hates his mother and he might actually be emotionally scarred by her and Mark Bergeron. Some people are innocent of the crimes they commit, even if they are guilty. Anissa and Mark Bergeron never gave that kid a chance. Anissa threw him away, waaay before he was 18 years old. Stehpen hasn't done anythng wrong. Children live what they learn. She never has defended him. Where did you get an idea like that. Yeah, they gave him tough love. NO LOVE. Neither her nor Mark, that's the problem.

Surely you jest..no one in their right mind would post such drival..Of course tough love works..but you have to have a conscience for it to work on you.So it is all right to go out and rape some women if you hate your mother....how sick are you ???and you ask about sin...its people like you that let criminals walk freely on the streets of society where good hard working people live. We all have problems but we do not all turn to a life of crime...thats the cowards way out..too damn lazy to go out and make changes in their lives..get and keep a job and become part of decent society....you who are talking about sin sure seem to harbor a lot of hate for Annissa and Mark....Last I looked in my bible HATE was right up at the top of the list of sins....

Told you I couldn't cast the first stone, however I am casting my last comment--everyone is innocent until proven guilty. So, prove it.

Everyone is innocent until proven guilty. I do think that if a person is willing to wait months after moving back home to finally do or say anything about an occurance then somethings not right. The truth will come out. A lot of people get raised wrongly and it affects the person they become. Doing one bad thing doesn't make you a bad person. It's what you do about your mistakes where they lead you.

It is extremely difficult for rape victims to report the crime for fear their will be made public. Remember the majority of rapes go unreported, however most women understand this...

If the one bad thing you did is rape, then I do think that makes you a bad person.

judging someone about what others say isn't necessary. unless your living his life, you don't know what he's gone through or what he's done.
the false imprisonment charge is bogus. How can you be imprisoned in a house that you choose to stay at day in and out while he's working.. she could've left and did leave.. he didn't force her to stay there.
