I work there, seems like the word around the hospital is its going to close in the next year or two. They are selling lots of medical equipment not buying new equipment and other suspicious things going on....

The hospital is NOT closing. Lifepoint is in the process of inspecting the hospital and the Letter of Intent has been acceped by the town.

IF Lifepoint decides to pursue, the town will have to vote to sell.

About shutting this shit town down? Really? I live here, while it may have its issues, all towns do.... especially small towns..

Azz girl, all I can to you is this is America, learn the English language. Shut da??? What language is that? Stupid?

This has been going on for a years, disregard it. If a company doesn't buy it, the town will run it. And yes, the company that owns eunice hospital and ville platte hospital will buy it very soon. By the way New Horizons generates most of the money...

With demands put on the health care (Medicare and CMS)... It is becoming more challenging and all with less and less reimbursement. They can not continue without a larger corporation behind them.... It will be interesting to see the outcome.
