First of all two things, ALL POLICE are sociopaths. Like attracts like and criminal activity isn't the behavior of Christlike people, but it is of the mentally ill. Second, yes Grapevine residents pay a lot of their hard earned money trying to keep this community conservative and peaceful! No, we don't want it to be destroyed like Dallas or other cities that have become literal septic tanks of human waste. The whinney and "I'm entitled" atitude is NOT WELCOMED in Grapevine, and firmly WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. We have our rights too!

I Think The Cops DO Target Minorities. And For A White Person To Say They Do Not Is Legally Blind. Either That Or Has A "pimped" Out Vehicle Being With Rims, What Have You. So Whatever And Whoever Said "Come Back Where You Came From" Yeah That Sounds Genuinely Racist.

Law Abiding Citizen Is A Law Abiding IDIOT. WTF Does Having Children Out Of Marriage Have To Do With Driving? Let Alone This Thread? Idiot. OMG They Should Ask Now At The DMV If You Recieved A GED Because Than They Can Just Deny Them Of Any Rights At All. Well For Your Stupid, Idiocy, You Should Be Denied Of... Speaking. Good Luck To You You Idiot.

I have lived here 14 years and never been pulled over by the Grapevine Police. If you were not such an idiot you might not have a problem. Seen people like you everywhere I have lived. No respect for the police departments or other city officials. Please move as we do not need you in Grapevine.

I was glad I didnt tell the whole story, because I was waiting on a response like yours.
1. My inspection sticker expired in July. I was pulled over July 29 because of an expired inspetion sticker? I thought you get the whole month to get your car inspected.
How is this breaking the law?
2. I was pulled over by the same officer 2 weeks later because of illegal window tint, I was in the same CAR!!! When I bout my car from Sewell Lexus, the Window tint was already on the CAR!!
How is this breaking the law?
As for you, GRAPVINE DRIVER, you are either a pig, a city official, a redneck, or a hick. If you agree with what this cop did:
You are absolutely right about the Grapevine Police! I have lived here for close to a year and noticed things have changed drastically the last few months. I was approaching a parked GV police car with the drivers door open and no cop in site, so I went very carefully and slowly as I passed. The cop scared the hell out of me as he literally jumped out of his shoes and came running at us from the curb, waving his arms, and yelling at us to pull over. I was trying hard to think what I could have done to incur such vehement wrath and effort? I pulled over immediately, and rolled the window down and asked the officer right away about what was wrong? You would have thought that I had shot at somebody the way he had acted. He points at my windshield and says with a deep frown on his face that my Inspection sticker has expired. Man, it sure comforts me to know that the GV Police are sooooo diligent in their efforts!! So you burglars, bank robbers, and felony doers better beware in Grapevine..... NOT. The guy who was behind me in the pay-the-fine-line at the "courthouse" was ticketed for not signaling on a right-hand turn.... he was doing his paperroute at 3 AM in the morning, no traffic at all other than a cop wakin up from a nap in the park across the street and apparently got PO'd because his sleep had been disturbed by the newspaper guy's lights. It is now so blatantly obvious that the police are all about collecting revenue to keep their current budgets intact, pure and simple, stop the people who CAN PAY, dont arrest the ones who cant or are gonna be a cost burden on the budget. Would like to see the tickets issued numbers vs felony arrests in Grapevine the last year or two.

i hate cops they think they can do what they want because they have a badge, they will break the law and you cant do anything because their word is law. we had a cop walk into our property and start telling everyone what to do, their especially bad with teenagers. the grapevine police force must make millions off harrasing and entraping teens. we had an officer tell a girl to pick up a pack of cigs and gave her an MIP. grapevine cops are crooked fuckers.

Maybe the reason we have a low crime rate in Grapevine, Texas is due to the fact that the cops do their job and enforce the laws. I came here from The Bronx, New York in 1984 and if the NYPD did half as good a job as the Grapevine PD, the crime rate in The Bronx would have been under control. I see the trend now a days, enforce the law and you are racist. If you don't like to live in a city where the law is enforced, don't let the door hit you in the a$$ on the way out.

Well now that "santa" popped off his family in your town the police have something important to do instead of messing with people because of expired inspection stickers and window tint.

I don't think it is just Grapevine Police, it's all places and all police forces. There are good and bad everywhere you go. Some have more bad than good. They develop a felling of being above the law there being paid to enforce, unles your one of them. Some do seem to profile a bit because its easy and the bottom line they'll get promoted for doing such a good job.
I'm not young and don't fit the troublemaker profile , so I don't have too much problem. Cops do scare me even I have met some of the good ones. I have one ticket in the last 20 years, and that was speeding on 114 coming home in Las Colinas on a Saturday afternoon running 75. Ok my fault.
One time in Euless I was on my way home from my 3rd shift job sick as hell. When he pulled up behind me sitting on the side of the road throwing up, sure he had to check to make sure I just wasn't drunk. Once he did and found I wasn't and just sick he was so helpful and could do enought to make sure I made it home save.

Julie - You're in California. Mind your own business! Don't you all have your own problems to deal with.

I've not had any problem with Grapevine officers. Matter of fact, I bought a sport bike the other day and the seller said he thought the speedometer might be off. I passed a Grapevine officer running radar on Ira E Woods at the carwash across from Walmart. Pulled in and asked if he'd mind letting me come back by at 40 and tell me what he locked me in at. He was happy to do it and I found out the speedometer was spot on.

Just my experience with GPD.

No, I believe you are incorrect. I would hazard to guess that there is more crime in NYC because more people live there.

I have been pulled over here more than anywhere else in my life. I put on my blinker 30 feet before my turn, because I remembered I needed gas, and had to turn left instead of right. I was pulled over because I did not give my turn signal 100 feet before the intersection. Really? Go pull over the drunks at Chill or Whilhoite's. Leave me alone.
