If anyone is looking for a great dentist, make sure you don't go to DR. KEN. BRANSONS office in Watauga or Bedford. On May 15th my son was scheduled to have four extractions done. The original appointment was to just have a teeth cleaning. So called the office and spoke to the front desk person, who which to my suprise is the business owner. So, I had spoken to her numerous of times. I spoke to her about changing the appointment from a teeth cleaning to do four extractions, the cost, if the insurance did not cover and even faxed over the doctors orders for his extractions. At one point I even spoke to the doctor. When my husband and my son got to the appointment, they are told his appointment was to just do a teeth cleaning. So, I called the office to speak to the lady at the front desk "business owner" and does not let me get a word in edge wise. The way she handeled herself and the situation was insane. She would not talk to me after numerous attempts to call her back. She kicked my husband and my son out of the office. As my husband told her he wouldn't waste any more of her time, she said "GOOD DON'T". Let me remind you that this is the business owner and there was a lobby full of people. The value of customer service to people these days means nothing. I am still beside myself at the way she handeled the situation. I would highly suggest, if you need dental work done, go to Next Century Dental in Watauga. It is located off 377, just mins away from Dr. Bransons office. The were great from the moment we arrived, and even took care of my sons teeth cleaning and extractions on the same day. Even though, I had to pay out of pocket $500.00. I was well worth it!!! Thanks Next Century Dental!!!I would rather pay any dental office for there services, before I spend another dime at Dr. Bransons office."Lady you need get off the high horse you rode in on and get a life" It is sad that some people, are so unhappy with themselves that they treat everyone around them with disrespect.

Hi Christina,

I know very well what you are talking about with Dr Bransons office from the time my mother use to go the Bedford office. The front desk lady who happens to be Mrs. Branson is very rude, arrogent, LOUD and VERY Unprofessioanl!! I have always noticed this and did not understand why my mother continued to go to his office only that she really like Dr. Branson who was very nice but LORD getting past his wife is a nightmare! And if you happen to get her on a bad day Lord forbid she just rants and raves in front of everyone!! She for sure needs to come off her HIGH horse and ride a pony a while. I remember she use to brag to everyone about her daughter doing to college to be a dentist WHATEVER... she is the worst around for sure!!!

I am cancelling my next, 2nd appt. with Dr.Branson solely because of the way another patient was treated while I was sitting in the waiting rm. I hv never in my life heard anyone so rude as the owner that sits behind the frt desk. Not going into what the issue was all about but she made it very plain that "HMO" patients were the worst customers because the "HMO Insurance" did not pay any of the costs, which is not true. She advised the lady to find another dentist.

I, too have experienced the rude, pompus behaviar of the lady in the front office of Branson Dental. It's such a shame she's so impolite because he's so nice and is a great dentist. I heard her threaten to call the police on one of his patients because she questioned her bill. Monark's staff is very unexperienced.

Tell Dr Branson to look at this page. I'm sure he will be embarrased.

I had exactly the same sort of experience as Regina. The support woman is amazingly rude. You have to wonder about the judgment of the dentist if he let's someone like that have customer contact. I'm going to tell everyone I know to stay clear of this outfit.

I guess I'm one of those "horrible DMO" patients! My last dental office had really rude staff both behind the desk and in the rooms with you. So I decided to switch. Chose this one because of the location and have been waiting for a month to get on their list from Cigna.

Called today to get an appointment and must have gotten the lady every one else described. I told her I had switched to them and she immediately tried to dismiss me by saying, "you can't have an appointment until you're on our list!". I corrected her and explained I was on their March list and she looked. Set an appointment for me in mid April to see the dentist and I asked about a cleaning appointment. She said I had to wait until my first visit was over to set that up and it would take 10-12 weeks to get an appointment. I said, "wow that's along time" and got the, "well your plan has thousands of people like you on it and you'll just have to wait".

Lovely--was hoping to get a better situation not a more hateful person.

All I can say is STAY Away!! After trying to set an appointment and getting rudely yelled at by the receptionist (guess it was her bad day) I vowed not to use thiese people. When the "son" called us back and yelled at us...I chose to write my insurance company and recommend they drop this provider. If this is the first contact Service...I cannot imagine, and don't want to know what happens when they close the door behind me!

STAY AWAY! I believe the woman at the front desk has serious mental health issues. I have never experienced the rudeness and unprofessionalism I did when I tried to make an appointment as a first time patient. Her name is Sharon. If that's the way they treat potential clients, I'd hate to see what happens after they have your business.

I sure wish that I had read these comments prior to going to the office of Dr. Banson~! I too experienced this "receptionists" lack of professionalism. After both she and Dr. Branson hung up on me, I was informed that my entire family would no longer be welcome in their office(not that I would have wanted to return). I will be sure and let anyone and everyone know what to expect if they make the mistake of choosing to affiliate with this dental practice.

I have just had the absolute worst experience of my life at Branson Dental. The dentist, Dr. Montroy, was fantastic along with the hygenists, but the "office manager" is horrible. I dared to ask for clarification of a charge for 2 fillings that were done. I contacted my insurance to company to better understand the pricing. The insurance company informed me that it seemed I was billed incorrectly, but they were going to contact the office directly. When the agent came back on the phone she was appalled at how she was treated. She stated that the reason I was not covered was because my fillings were "elective". I asked "who just WANTS to have their teeth drilled without a need?". The insurance rep told me I could file a complaint and arragned to have paperwork sent to me. I had an appointment yesterday, and decided to ask the desk staff why they told my insurance company that my fillings were not necessary. The "office manager" pulled out a book to show me where my insurance does not cover fillings in the molars. I was surprised and stated that I was going to call the insurance company back and inquire as to why. The "office manager" said that the insurance people don't know anything. I explained to her that they told me I could file a complaint, and that set her off. She said that looks bad on them and she was going to call her rep. While waiting in the office, I heard her leaving a "LOUD" angry message for someone regarding our talk. The next day I called the insurance company again, and once again was told I was billed incorrectly. The agent contacted the office to get further information and after speaking with the "office manager" explaining the error and even offering to fax her the page that explains it further, she hung up on him. Just as I was finishing my call with the insurance, I received a call from Branson dental stating that they spoke wtih Dr. Montroy and "due to the fact that patient/doctor confidentiality was broken, it was best that I find another dentist". So basically if you dare to ask any questions regarding your charges, you could just go find another dentist! Well, Branson Dental, I will be posting this exact message to as many sites as I can find, exposing your dishonesty. It is a shame because I thought that Dr. Montroy was fantastic. It just shows what one bad apple can do to the bunch. I hope that anyone who has had similar experiences files complaints with their insurance companies as well.

I have never been treated worse over the phone. I was trying to make my very first appointment and the receptionist was RUDE, disrespectful and hung up on me TWICE. I reported her and this office to my insurance. How many more complaints do they need before they get a new receptionist. In this day and age with so many people out of work, you would think they could find someone with a more compassionate professional attitude.

Unfortunately she won't be going anywhere She is Dr. Bransons wife! I'm thinking if they get enough complaints, the insurance companies will drop them, or they will lose all their patients due to her unprofessionalism. Keep posting everyone!! Have a great week!

WOW!!! I only clicked on this because I thought "that name rings a bell" - and SURE ENOUGH - it is the terrible dentist office from years ago that I went to! I MEAN TERRIBLE! The lady gave me too much laughing gas and I could not stop laughing - the dentist got mad AT ME because of it - and threw something in the office, yelled at me and the lady! He told me he was going to have to reschedule my appointment because I had too much laughing gas. SERIOUSLY - I was young - like a kid! How was I to know? I was terrified of dentist for years after this :( I have since found a much nicer and calmer place to have my work done!

I too went to this office, and I should of listened to all of these reviews. I called to see if I could just get some of my fillings done instead of the root canal and the lady I spoke to was rude..I had told her that since they didn't want to do the work for me that I was probably going to have to go to a different dentist and was probably going to need my xrays. Well she told me she was not going to give me anything and after asking her for her name because she was just talking so rude to me she told me I am a paralegal and the owner and hung up on me. I actually froze for a min and realized that this lady had actually hung up on me and I couldnt belive that someone who supposibly is the owner of this place had just hung up on me. You would think that the owner out of all people whould act different you know try her best to keep the customers happy but nope not this psycho. I called again and this time spoke to a gentleman who I had spoken to before and thought he was nice at first but this time he was laughing at me while telling me her name. I could hear the so called owner laughing at me to, and when I told him why do you treat people like that he said she is the owner and can do whatever she wants. I hope something is done about this place it is the worst place I have ever been to and I really do hope they get shut down or lose all their patients. PLEASE PLEASE DON'T GO HERE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHES YOU WILL GO THROUGH BY SPEAKING WITH THE "SO CALLED OWNER"..

I personally know an FBI agent that works white collar and that investigates people as such. People that do
Not file things correctly. I am definitely giving them this tip. No one should be treated this way especially if you are paying for service! I'm sorry you all had such a bad experience. We were blessed to have such a wonderful dentist in Grapevine. We go to Vinyard dental (Dr Richard Perez) off 121 and Glade. The staff is absolutely wonderful! Dr Perez is a great Christian man. He and his staff will take good care of you! I live in Keller and travel to Grapevine when my husband , kids and I need a dentist.

I also had a horrible experience with these people as well, in the Bedford location. Both of these people are pompous butts! In this financial climate, I am surprised that these ppl are still open.

I wonder how many of these post I have read in the past few minutes. Do you people have any proof of this at all? Are is this another one of these topix fairy tales? I believe my naphew goes somewhere in bedford and that sounds like the place were he goes. Although I,am not so sure yet but I will find out but if that is were he goes he has had no trouble with them at all! and his mom is always there with him. Sometimes you people make up fairy tales that don,t exist. I will ask his mom if this is the place were he goes and if not maybe I,am wrong. Therefore I will just have to call them myself are go in there my self and act like I,am trying to find out appointment information and I will see if they are really rude are not. Although I will not make an actuall opointment but I will call and ask about apointments information and if they are rude butt heads then I will be the clown on this topix..
