Already, there has been nothing but trouble. The
law is called to this bar constantly, there has
been fighting, people pulling out in front of
cars traveling down 411 (And you know they are
driving while under the influence.

I don't think this was a positive move for Eton
who has 1 policeman on duty.

Why is it that every little thing that happens in Eton the fault of the city government? Why not blame the people who are foolish enough to go to a restaurant and get drunk? What is positive is the money that these establishments bring into the city. It is what keeps the streets in decent repair, especially in a time that most cities cannot afford to patch potholes. You people are always trying to butcher Eton, but the bottom line is that every city has these problem. If you are not happy with the decisions of the City of Eton, go to council meetings and voice your opinion! Vote when the time comes to elect different officials! Run for office! In other words, if you are such a Concerned Citizen, instead of sitting on your computer, bitching on this forum, BE PROACTIVE!

I haven't heard no one say it isn't a bar....It's a sports bar. They serve drinks and food BUT so does El Publito and it's called a resturant. At least the Sports Bar is off limits to anyone under 21 years of age after 8:00 pm. Besides "Jay" who are you to judge other people? Saying,"go see who is in there on the weekends.."It's their lives and how they live their lives is up to them and there is only ONE judge we all have that can judge us. Your judgement toward anyone means nothing.

Tim, I being from Eton can honsetly say that our town is NOT ran by a bunch of drunks. Eton is a great place to live and a very close town. Of course you got your certain few people that live in Eton and live to do nothing more than BITCH about everything and everyone. They would be the same way if they lived in another city. Anyway...Eton is growing, they help with their community. Employee's of Eton are fair and honest people. Tell me one town that has "grown" and not have a bar? In short Eton is a Great place to live.

As long as he's not on duty and not drunk what's the problem?

I don't drink, smoke, fight or shoot pool, but my friends and I had lunch there other day. The staff was very friendly, the food was good, hot and not too pricey. It was enjoyable. By the way I did see Brent there - he was picking up a take out order minus the spirits. Give the small business' a chance. PLEASE

Did you ever stop to think "live Eye" that he is making stops in there to make sure no trouble is going on? Also, If he's having a drink....so what especially if he's not on duty. You need to stop slandering good people's name. Besides it seems your not one to say to much about anyone being there since you knew he was there. think about it...

your so right!!! I saw him doing the same thing...PICKING UP TAKE OUT.. and my family and i have also went there just to eat. It seems "live eyes" only ambition is to start rumors on someone...which hopefully they will see that no one is listening to them...
