This has just become a forum for hiding the real truth, which is that another, fresher event could raise lots more money.

At what point with this self-serving letters stop being published for free? Just charge them the going advertising rate, or make it one of the prize donations, but spare us the constant gratuitous praise-mongering. Where is the outrage over someone being murdered last November and nothing being done or said about it. Where are is your star team of reporters, at the latest handshaking festival?
