What is the purpose of this barbaric practice called rodeo? Humans getting hurt (see picture), animals getting hurt and scared for their very life for what reason?

our domestication of animals, and our dominion over those that cannot be tamed. What is the purpose of breathing or eating? Why don't you go off in a corner and stop doing both, pampered crap monger.

Let's see...domesticating animals through torture and dominion over those that cannot be tamed through torture is called abuse whether it be innocent animals or your wife. Breathing and eating??????? It's called living free, not under the tyranny of someone like you. I will go in a corner and thank God for the freedom of breathing, eating, being pampered and wallowing in my freedom from control freaks like you.

It take a real man to take a domesticated animal on a long ride in a trailer filled with food and maybe air conditioned and put him in a pen, stick a cattle prod up his rear end to hurt and confuse him then ride out and tackle and rope the poor SOB. It's sick like those who do it only for the money. Those who do not feel thepain of animals are abusive animals themselves.
So do not eat food

and do not breathe air, because you are definitely hurting whatever you eat in the first instance, and possibly hurting insects and microbes you breathe in in the second place. Stop being so hypocritical. This isn't bullfighting or dogfighting. I don't exactly see how taking a horse around some barrels is hurting anything, except the worms in the dirt, possibly.
I take it your lack

on barrel racing. Isn't it cruel to the barrel manufacturers?

The barrel painters?

The barrel supporters?

The barrel chested fans in the audience?

Anyone?

Anyone?

HUUUUUUHAH (rimshot)
