The courtesy of character

What does one do when a large white envelope, plainly addressed to someone else and obviously containing personal, confidential documents is placed in your post office box by mistake? You don't open it, read it, staple the opened end and return it to the post office with the notation "wrong box." But you just did. Full Story

And this is something to write to the letter of the editor? Go to the postmaster and file a complaint Pat. This is not a venue to whine about your personal problems and potentially flush out the perp. We don't care.

Pat Newsom should start her own "Pet Peeves" column if she has to much to unburden herself over. Or she should think about taking that long walk off of the proverbial short dock, because, honestly, no one cares and her two pretend friends raise their eyebrows every time they are stuck with her in conversation and some normal person walks by.

I do not know about her two fake friends nor do I care to but using a credible venue such as the Trail's letter to the editor to "vent" it unexceptable. Such is the old guard though and I suppose we must tolerate it until someone changes the good old boy system. If you or I submitted such a sham of a letter it wouldnot have been printed.

Recently someone parked in a spot I wanted in front of the Bighorn Restaurant. They probably got there first, in hindsight, but I am more important, and so deserved it.

Character is what we do when I want a parking spot.

I went to the postmaster general in D.C. and asked him to misdirect all my mail to surrounding boxes, then we caught the culprit based on the staples they used to reseal the envelope, after we broke into everyone's house and analyzed their staplers. Now you've ruined it all for yourself, Pflat, by jumping the gun.

Leave the poor wummon alone. She has been through an invasive mail search, and it's not even war time.

It leaves one questioning whether anything is sacred, including the postal service promise to lose our mail and never find it.

The fact that it turns up opened is highly violational.
