Task force looking at Estes Park's economic future

It's encouraging to see that "the need to recruit more primary job companies" is one of the opinions on the table, particularly if this is interpreted to mean companies whose income is derived from out-of-town, non-tourist sources.
Tourism is fine; more would be more fine [up to a point, I guess] but not new. Thrashing the dollars already in the Valley via new businesses who serve the tourists and/or residents isn't the solution, either, because it's new dollars that are needed to sustain and diversify the economy.
What needs to be thought through is how to attract to the Estes Valley new organizations that will bring with them new sources of outside income and be compatible with the culture. This isn't an easy question to answer, but with all the interest in this topic, maybe someone will have some ideas.
