It really needs a new name... every time I read this, I think it says 'Auschwitz' center... and I'm not the only one who thinks that.

Does everyone remember John Cullen's argument in round 1 that this asinine project needed to be approved before December because the money wouldn't be there after Dec.31? Apparently that was a lie because he is proposing it again, only this time as a joint venture with the EPMC. Maybe he can include McDonald's and offer free hamburgers on Friday evenings? Wake up EP! The man is a scam artist----nothing more, nothing less.

So Brian Herwig thinks that the Wellness Center is needed for the sustainability of the hospital. He obviously has a Degree in B S Ology. Don't threaten us Brian.

Do we need a bunch of new fat farm employees at the EPMC? How about some additional doctors that can do something to diagnose serious diseases?

This is disheartening, to read about another distraction that EPMC is pursuing instead of providing a consistent level of excellent medical care. Rebranding, new bushes in the shape of the facility logo, and a new campus will not improve the care in our taxpayer owned medical facility. The EPMC board is on the cusp of a revolt by the people that elected them to represent the needs of the community. That amounts to ONE THING: good medical care. Our family occasionally uses the services in our hometown, at EPMC, and every time we do, we are reminded why we prefer to utilize other facilities. Get your priorities straight EPMC, before starting something else you can't do well. Ask your own staff and Dr's for their input about how to improve care... Right, right, you already have.

Once again, I'm the only one willing to post with my name. Once again, I don't wear a mask. Jake and Wow, I would (and every one else) take your comments more seriously if you put your real name behind your comments. Without it, your comment doesnt mean anything. You are are a non voice. Less than a non voice really. You are are a sucking void without comment.

Have you attended the meetings? Have you attended the study sessions? Are you a member of an Estes Park associations? Are you on a board? EVPC, EALA, EDC...? Have you rallied, created groups, stood behind the podium, dredged sludge, raised money...? Have your raised 10's of thousands of dollars for flood relief? Did you work with the EDC task force? Probably not. If you have, reply to this post with your real name. My name is Adam Shake. I live at 305 Riverside Drive in Estes Park. I have a voice. I don't hide behind "EPMC from Denver" (Really dude????), "Jake from Bourthoud", "Wow", "What We Need" or "Ben F."

I'd be happy to have coffee (on me) or lunch or dinner at your choice of venues to discuss.

Not saying whether or not I'm for or against. Just asking you to drop the mask, face public scrutiny and put yourself out there. Otherwise, you're just a silent voice in the void.

Sorry to hear that Brian has drunk the juice of EPMC administrators and now has his head in the clouds.

I was hoping the new CEO would come in and clean up the hospital administrator attitudes. Money and time should be spent on employees that actually see patients. Money should not be spent on re-branding, land purchasing, additions, and remodeling. EPMC already has too many liabilities and not enough income.

Oh and Shake Mobster, from your harranguing tone, I take it you are in total support of this project. So stop hiding behind your false front storefront and come out and hand out free coffee like a man.

Hi Adam---You're pretty good at tooting your own horn. As for name calling (sucking void) I would be careful with your self appointed wit. You see, I know who you are but you don't know me or anyone else in these posts. I have my own opinion of you but I'll keep it to myself. The nice thing about these comments is that we are all allowed to keep our identity secret without fearing reprisal from our constituents. Be careful for what you wish. You're just a speck in a huge picture. And until you know who you are dealing with I would be very careful. Please understand that I am trying to make a point and I don't knock you for your ideals. Please don't knock us for ours. Have a nice day!
