WOW, It was a DISASTER! It better not EVER come back. You have to be the Start or the Finish destination or it is a waste of time for your town! How stupid can our town officials be to think closing down a main highway, and closing off parking lots are going to draw all these people up here for a race in town for 10 minutes. People are only buying cycling stuff sold in Bond Park. And closing down Elkhorn Ave WAY before race gets here for bigwheel races??! WTF I have a biz on E Elkhorn and its scary to know we have town officials like to bite the had that feeds them. When is the next election?!

Why would huge crowds come to Estes Park when there is no place to park and get to the events? I go for a weekend in the summer and its gridlock.

Spoken like true politicians. Why not tell us about the monetary losses suffered by businesses along the race route? I know of one in particular who says he lost $3,000 due to the towns ineptness in planning, not to mention all the extra supplies he had on hand (food) that has to be thrown away.

My business on W Elkhorn suffered. It was a complete disaster. West end of town looked like a ghost town. Please don't bring it back. Planning was horrible, parking was horrible and business, well a waste of a good day.
