Did I read that correctly? The grandstands that "had" to be replaced, no longer "safe" enough or was it attractive enough for Estes Park; the same grandstands that went from the EPURA $1 million swansong to "surprise surprise" a $2 million dollar project; those grandstands are being carted off to be reused by the folks from Elizabeth, Colorado. Don't they know the risk they take by using those unsafe grandstands? Shouldn't someone warn them? Or maybe, maybe we should try to recruit them to move to Estes Park and teach our town leaders a thing or two or ten about "responsible" usage of public funds. What's next? Where does the spending stop?
