Making financial ends meet in Estes Park
#1 Sep 28, 2012
poverty is the problem as much as access and opportunity. Estes Park does not have many high paying jobs since their is no industry here to speak of. You have the school district, hospital, YMCA, and RMNP...that's about it so it would stand to reason that if you are not an administrator or a doctor poverty comes with the territory especially with the economy as it is and EP's high housing and utility prices. Unless EP gets more businesses etc. the problem will not go away.
