Who are these people? Gender? Race? Ethnicity? Age? If these characteristics could be further defined then it may be easier to pin point specific support rather than the stray cat syndrome; by that I mean you put food out for a stray cat and it keeps coming back and coming back and coming back for more until the food is gone. Then it finds somewhere else to go for a handout.
Is Crossroads really helping the needy folks of the Estes Valley or enabling them?

Crossroads use to be of service when I worked there in the 90s. But now it is the first stopping place for the illegal Mexicans. Plus now the Director and assistant make a good salary promoting these 'poor souls'. They are nothing more than enabling these people plus justifying their salary positions. Same with Eliz. Guild, hospital and schools. The bleeding heart Americans are enablers and justifying their slaries at the expense of the dumb American taxpayer!

I understand and give as much as I can, but why do these people live in one of the most expensive towns in the state if they cant afford it? Not many year-round jobs.

I have money and can live here. You don't, so you shouldn't. When I fall on hard times, I will not ask anyone for help, and I don't think anyone should help anyone beyond providing the bullet to put them out of their misery. I am one of God's chosen.

If folks have not noticed there is "white flight" going on right in front of our eyes. Parents are choosing to send their children to school districts that are not inundated with Hispanics like Estes Park. Their taxpayer money actually goes to educational programs that benefit all students not just a specific group. There students can actually learn rather than dealing with behavior problems and constant distractions.

While we are at it we should just start constructing segregated schools so that we can further divide our country. Life was so much better back in the good days when nobody but the lucky "choosen" people of god were allowed to learn and vote and have rights. Lets just go back to that.

If they are having problems with students learning due to behavior problems and distractions lets just round up all the problem children and send them to concentration camps. That way they will get to learn good stuff too

Okey Dokey...you keep paying the increased taxes. I'm out sucker. See how far your narrow minded ideals get you once you are in the poor house being taxed to death.

If you think illegal Mexican kids have not invaded Estes schools, I invite you to look at the last 15 years enrollment there. Mexicans are the only race that has increased. People are either home-schooling or sending them down to Loveland. Get a clue!
