Very well thought out and articulated Rob. Thank you. The two points that stood out to me are
1. "Another challenge is obtaining balanced input from a wide range of viewpoints and then avoiding domination of the results by a sub group or power group."
2. "Decisions are made by those who show up."

Hello again Adam!#1 is a perfect example of how this town functions, and by that I mean "domination of the results by a sub group or power group."
#2 is an absolute lie. The final decisions are made by a select few who usually don't have the good sense to listen to those who show up. Want an example? How about The Performing Arts? You and whomever want to shove The Performing Arts down our throats instead of letting the people vote to approve or disapprove. The same goes for The Wellness Center, although I admit the people will have the final say so. Isn't it amazing how a chosen few know what's best for the majority?
