Johanna,
When you say Todd Jirsa you know something unsavory is up. You are on to something that many have suspected all along. Next you may want delve into the old elementary school and the EVRPD (I speculate that Rick O'Dell is not a lone soldier in his alleged theft charge). You may be surprised at what you find.

This town bully has got to go. First the schools (bullying a new school board member among a long laundry list of other mean spirited gestures) now the Elkhorn Project. Why isn't the Trail Gazette investigating this clown? Has he bullied them too?

Strong analytical report.

One thing that will be interesting is to look at all of their filings with the state. I am assuming
that the Elkhorn Project, Inc.- has been in existence for a year or so? The address would
then be on all of those reports - and the more often the "tipo" is displayed - the greater suggestion
of either incompetence or impropriety.

The Town has asked for Regional Tourism Act funds - have they gotten them - and what were
they spent on ... an itemized list - with names, dates, services/goods would be very interesting.
Saying that - same for the expenditures of the Elkhorn Project Inc.- who got the money for what?

Ms. Darden has supplied the facts and then asked the right questions.

a break. This is the kind if investegatory journalism that Estes Park doesn't have a big enough newspaper to look into. If not for the gross misconduct of individuals becoming so obvious or so criminal that it can't be ignored, or getting the reporting by the Denver Post-it, how would we ever learn of the underhandedness and duplicity of the Elkihorn Carnival Snowjob, huh?

Mr. Jirsa and honesty, morals and ethics really don't go hand in hand, as said, Bullying a new board member, giving a raise to Linda Chapman while slashing teachers because of lack of funding, misleading and dishonest statements made in public meetings, downright deception over the Elkhorn Project such as when it was stated that the Elkhorn project had the full support of the Estes Historical society, a blatant lie about the address of the Elkhorn project offices.
Seems like someone willing to do and say anything to get what he wants and willing to stomp anyone who gets in his way.
Hmmmm, acts like a spoiled petulant child to used to getting his own way, pathetic really, how about coming clean for once? Like explaining why the Elkhorn project made clear that they would not put up any personal collateral to insure payback of money from the taxpayers in case of default, just put up so the Elkhorn project can turn a profit at no risk to the group involved in the project itself.
Time for them to go away, you serve no benefit to the town.

I just don't understand why the Elkhorn Project and Mr. Jirsa can't simply be straightforward, open and honest, it really does come off as shady with some underlying ulterior motive when the "facts" are always clouded like this.
So why not an open book policy Mr. Jirsa? Why the deception and misdirection on the part of the Elkhorn Project, can you explain it?

Yes I can. First of all, I live in Estes Park. Doesn't Lafayette have something else to worry about, like the sewer backing up or the hooker strike leaving you with only your hand and sandpaper?

I also live in Estes Mr. Juicer, however it is to bad your mom and the other hookers went on strike, but she didn't understand the basic principle that hookers are supposed to get paid for their service, niot pay the client to do them, but seeing as your grandmother taught her the family trade, that probably explains the ridiculous business practice, much like Mr. Jirsas business practices, illicit, shady, and need to be kept in the dark, I prefer the sandpaper, it's far more appealing

Because he can. In other words Mr. Jirsa is so used to getting his way by bullying (verbally and other ways) he has no reason to change his deceitful tactics. I am glad to see that we as a community are getting sick and tired of such nonsense and are ready to make him accountable for his behavior. We need to keep taking out the trash and bring in an honest and open way to do business. Estes Park deserves better.
I wonder what is happening with the school district? Mr. Jirsa is after all the president of the school board (he bullied his way into that position too; new board members never saw it coming since was shoved down their throats the second they were sworn in). If he's dishonest in business what about an entire school district?

You prefer sandpaper. Ouch. That must be a pretty rough go. Why is for your location hidden. Are you on the run from the law, or from your uncle, who took you out to the woodshed as a young boy, you, not your uncle, now a registered sx offender? Oh, and it's high time Mr. Juicer spoke and apologized at a public forum in front of the whole community about trying to rescue his parents from bankupcy.

Well, you made a point of some sort at the end, but what's with the oddly disturbing Uncle, youing boy sex offender reference and what purpose does that serve as far as the topic of conversation?

That had me concerned as well as the Todd Juicer posting and the one below it. I think it is to get us off task from the real issue which is Todd Jirsa's dishonesty, bullying and and overall repulsive demeanor. If I am wrong then something is terribly wrong with these folks psyche.

to sandpaper was, I believe, a joke about the Lafayette hookers being on strike, so there was nothing to provide friction during hand pleasure except for 60-grit or higher rubbing material. As for as Mr. Jirsa, is he a registered sex off fender?

Seems it's true,'all politics are local'. The same dispicable debate practices of federal and state level go on here. Rather than constructive dialog, assasinate someone's character or ideas......

I mean if legitimate accusations here are accurate, is this the forum or way to express them? I take it by the way some are said here, they haven't or wouldn't be said in person, face to face?

I'd like to hear viable alternatives to the project and real problems dicussed, rather than the stuff posted here. And, some meaningful criticism. Honestly, you should see what I can erroneously put on a form. Old phone numbers, addresses just jump out by habit.....and WOW, it's two months before I even get the year right on writing personal checks.....

That's why your name is "Sunshine", because you are lazy.

Elkhorn Skink has no old checkbooks, they don't even have current checkbooks.

All of there money is coming from the town. And the town hasn't moved in awhile.

Try to fill out forms correctly For example, the box for this forum says "Name"
