So far, nothing of substance has been learned from this series, just campaign-style observations and platitudes from the people interviewed.
How about asking the trustees tough questions, like "Is there a place for nepotism here?" or "Why do you rubber stamp every proposal and every volunteer board candidate that comes through Rotary Club channels?" or "Does this town have a need for two papers when no single paper is worth wiping your butt with, and the two papers combined destroy more trees than every forest fire in the United States last year combined?" or "why don't you put Elkhorn Dodge out of its mysery and turn it into a maximum security prison for former town employees?"
