There is a simple solution for all this nonsense. If you believe all the rhetoric above and want Estes Park to be something it isn't, vote yes. If you live here and like it just the way it is, vote no. Plain and logical.

It should be EASY for all eligible voters to cast their ballot. The choice to hold a required poll election on this issue is clearly designed to suppress votes. This is directed toward elderly voters that would be prone to vote against the sale of Lot 4. The extra work to complete and submit an absentee ballot application, wait to receive the absentee ballot, then complete and submit it is NOT an easy process. And there are many elderly voters who will not be physically able to make it to the polls to cast their vote. I have lived in Estes Park for many years and have used a mail in ballot for EVERY election. This troubling issue should be brought to the attention of the Colorado Attorney General. This is not right.

Well put. Why don't YOU contact the Colorado Attorney General on this issue. Who knows, maybe the election will be held up until the Attorney General can make a ruling. I'm sure you would get a lot of support.
