Video: Estes Park glides into a temporary ice rink
#1 Oct 23, 2012
Hmm, I can see how an ice rink could have some pull.
This is the kind of thing I think should be at the Elkhorn Lodge property.
Anything would be better than the white elephant that would be the "spray on" ski slope that apparently has been suggested.
Maybe a Christmas Town kind of thing.
I know of two stores that would automatically have satellite kiosk's and a couple more restaurants and candy and ice cream business'(already established in town) with kiosk's.
A lot of lights and a excitement to bring in folks from Denver and Boulder and FoCo and Loveland.... Oh well, just a thought.

Growing up in Estes during the 60`s, we always had an ice rink in one of the city parking lots. We spent many hours there. Glad they are going it again.
