how all the beaver people were so opposed to that trail when it was going in and now they all use it to illegally park their cars. Classic.... Maybe the design of that trail should've included some curb and gutter along the sections without a buffer to discourage parking along it.

Perhaps the beaver huggers can volunteer and patrol the place to prevent the illegal parking on the path.(Wanna bet that we won't see that anytime soon?) If I get the chance to use the path I think that climbing on and walking over the cars as if they weren't there would be appropriate......

I do hope your are a walker enjoying this beautiful trail along a wonderful beaver habitat and majestic scenery. Don't you think we are so fortunate to be able to have this wonderful trail? Seems to me that the positives far outweigh any negatives you may see. I would like to point out some misinformation you have provided. The beaver advocates were NOT opposed to the trail. They were opposed to the breaching of the dams. This information was publicized in the many articles written by the journalist for the Trail Gazette and by many of the beaver advocates. I would like to suggest that you read the Estes Park Trail Gazette which covers issues exceptionally well. In addition, there were many public meetings that the Estes Valley Recreation and Parks District held that allowed people to provide comment. Did you attend any of the public meetings? I would also like to correct misinformation concerning your comment that there will be no beaver advocates who will "patrol" the area. Actually, I think you will be pleasantly surprised that people will volunteer to educate the public about not parking in that area as well as providing nature classes discussing beaver ecology. I think these classes will delight the visitors and residents alike.

Happy trail walking!!

need to know the best standard guage rifle or shotgun with which to kill beavers. I am not a hunter but I am tired of the rodent population taking presendents over the poor and indigent people in this town you are ignored. Please give your money and attention to those less fortunate, not including beavers, who live up north and do just fine destroying human agricultural habitats and salmon rungs.
