It would appear that the school district is saying it is fiscally responsible but to be put in this situation is just odd. The board and superintendent are masters at blaming others but where is their personal responsibility? What about the mill levy we the taxpayers gave the school district? Why did this district need the no interest loan due to "cash flow" problems yet they tout a grade A and transparency in the financial area? Again, what about the mill levy?
Another oddity (there are so many with this district) is the board and superintendent are concerned about contracts. What about the kids. Isn't this the group who always touts "whats best for kids"...yeah right.

Good SS Pork Republicans should rejoice that they will have successfully produced a whole new generation of citizens sufficiently dumbed down to unwittingly appreciate the town's parochially myopic cultural offerings and abject, intellectual conformity.

Isn't this precisely what the mindless mantra of "lower taxes" is designed to produce? After all, as long as you have lots of money, it really doesn't matter how stupid you are --- and you won't even realized that you're bored.

Not sure what you mean since democrats are the majority in the house and senate. We gave the school district a bond to update our schools, a mill levy (worth millions), then they got a no interest loan for $699,000 and are going to ask us for another tax increase all in two years. I suspect misuse of funds but the board treasurer is mute. I want a hot tub but cannot afford one so I don't buy it...
