Due to the Fish Creek Road flooding and being damaged there are also MANY families and homes in Little Valley who were pretty much stranded. Little Valley Road has only been temporarily repaired for exiting and we are told no permanent work will be done on the road this winter and so many homes which are fine cannot be lived in because of the road not being repaired. Without a permanent road propane trucks etc., plowing during winter, cannot be done thus putting my husband and I and many others out of their homes until who knows when.....it's very frustrating to have a home that can be lived in but no viable road and then having the expense of finding other shelter. It is difficult to be patient I guess under these circumstances. I know there are others who have lost much more but that's the irony, we have a good house but not a good road :-(
