Review: A Pooch's Paradise Pet Grooming

After going to A Pooch's Paradise for many years, my dog was injured while being groomed. She must have gotten soap in her eye, and the groomer did nothing to get it out. By the time I picked my dog up (less than 2 hours later), she couldn't keep her eye open at all. I immediately called to ask if anything had happened, and Jaime said that nothing had. I wound up having to bring my dog to the emergency vet (with a follow up to my regular vet). Because the soap was left in my dog's eye, it gave her a corneal ulcer. After over $300 in vet bills, I asked A Pooch's Paradise to stand by the service they give and help me to pay half of the vet bill. I called a few times (Jaime stopped answering, because she knew my number), and sent her a certified letter requesting help with the bill. No response was given to me. I will never, ever recommend this groomer to anyone. Please think twice before you take your pets here.
