The job is good, but we know little or nothing about the quality of life in the area. All you can get off of the I-net is non-stop Katrina stories. Would love to hear from some one/anyone with real-life experiences in the area. Good? Great? Bad? Terrible? Any and all info would be most appreciated. Looking foward to the move!

It's not the prettiest looking place lolbut we loved it ! The cops DO NOT play around ,.and I always felt really safe for that ! We lived on Louisiana St , in our own little set back area of shotgun houses and I loved it ! My husband worked nights and I had a newborn and my neighbors looked after me . Its a great place w awesome hospitality !
